Getting oncotype results on Wednesday and highly anxious doc will tell us that my wife needs chemo. Was wondering how much chemo reduces recurrence? Also she is stage 1 grade 3. Does grade 3 result in high oncotype score?
I was diagnosed with stage 1 grade 3 breast cancer 8/8 oestrogen positive, my oncotype score came back as 22, that is what they call a grey area meaning it was my choice whether to have chemo or not. I decided against chemo instead I had 15 days of radiotherapy plus 5 days of booster rads, I have also been on Anastrozole for just over 3 years. It is a difficult decision to make whether or not to have chemo but the recurrence percentage of 2% for me made me decide not to. I hope all goes well for your wife on Wednesday.

Im waiting on oncotype results on 4th week so scared waiting on call.
Um stage 1 grade 2.
Will be having radiation and hormone tablets .
