That's tough - every 3 days is no joke.  Yes frovatriptan is the same.

I really hope it does improve for you with time.  Best of luck, have a peaceful Christmas

Re: Anastrozole and Migraine

Hi, thanks for reply and for suggestion of Migard.  As it happens the neurologist I spoke to recently has prescribed frovatriptan for me which is alternative name for migard I think?  I do find it helps but recently been having migraine every 3 days and had to be careful of overuse of triptans. I really do hope that my body will become used to Anastrozole and the migraines will eventually go away for good! Tried switching to letrozole but things got even worse with even more side effects.

Re: Anastrozole and Migraine

I have had horrible migraines for years, and the one drug I have found which helps 9 times out of 10 is Migard.  If I take it early and just stay keip or lie down for an hour it usually knocks the migraine on the head.

I am on letrozole not anastrozole, and I expected them to get worse but they haven't - have no idea whether that's to do with the different drug or just luck?  Might be worth checking out with the nurse though?

Anastrozole and Migraine

I’ve been taking Anastrozole for a year now which has worsened my existing migraines.  I take a preventative but it no longer works, does anyone also suffer and if they’ve found something to reduce frequency please let me know?
