Thanks for your reply i think it may be to soon for it to come back especially to feel a lump this soon the swelling or lump seems to get bigger then go smaller i am due to have a mammogram in about 3 weeks

I’ve had swelling yes but not a lump. It would be unlikely to be breast cancer again so quickly but it’s always best to get anything checked - to reduce your anxiety at the very least. Why not contact your breast-care nurse or do you have a contact for the breast care nurses attached to the Radiography department? I rang them 8-9 months after I’d finished radiotherapy to ask about pain and they were very helpful.

Breast cancer

Hi i finished my radiotherapy for breast cancer 3 months ago i have found a swelling or lump in my breast not sure can cancer come back this quick or could it be a side effect of radiotherapy has anyone had the same
