To wig or not to wig!

I am due to return to work as a district nurse in January after 12 months off. I can’t decide if I should wear my wig or just go with my very very short hair! If I wear my wig there will become a point when I will have to reveal my hair so is it best to do that from the start? Colleagues have seen me with wig and hats but patients were used to seeing me with shoulder length curly hair!

I had this same dilemma when returning to work recently in a day nursery!! I didn’t want to confuse the children by wearing a wig one day and then not the next, I can just imagine the conversations that would’ve been started by their little minds!! Also with having regular hot flushes I don’t enjoy wearing a wig! In the end I have kept with wearing my beanie caps whilst I wait on my hair getting slightly longer!! I think you have to go with whatever is comfortable and suits you!! Xx
