Research study: The Cambridge Cohort - The use of patient data in breast cancer screening artificial intelligence research

What is the study?   We are creating an image database of mammograms from NHS breast screening. We plan to use these images to test how well computer programmes perform when reading mammograms compared to the current standard of care which is reading by two human radiologists / radiographers.

Who’s organising it? The University of Cambridge

What’s the criteria for taking part? 1. Women who are eligible for breast cancer screening or who have previously attended breast cancer screening.  2. Women who have also previously been diagnosed with breast cancer either through screening or another route.
