Hi all, just looking for a bit of positivity to keep me going. Lumpectomy 2 x 7mm tumours but 4 removed (+6mm 18mm) positive margins - cells and dcsi (?) so now had mastectomy with rebuild - surgeon put in expander - filling gradually with silicone before using ‘permanent’ implant with mesh… said skin was very thin and didn’t want to risk implant rejection. Week post op, drain out hopefully tomorrow. Just wondered if anyone had any similar experiences.. going through similar… don’t want to open myself up to googling as so much negative stuff out there….
