Re: Breast Reconstruction & Reduction

Rosie, absolutely! There is nothing linear with recovery, it's all a general upward trend but so many squiggles along the way. Try to listen to what your body needs and not judge based on yesterday (I mean, if I could only take my own advice...!) xx

Re: Breast Reconstruction & Reduction

So I am day 8 post-surgery (single side breast reduction) and I feel like I am going backwards. Had managed a daily walk up to and including yesterday, but yesterday afternoon I just crashed. Zero energy, very queasy. Anyone else had this experience?

Re: Breast Reconstruction & Reduction

I had a right side reduction on Tuesday and I had a drain in just overnight.

Re: Breast Reconstruction & Reduction

I had a reduction last year in prep for my mastectomy in Jan, and no drains for the reduction op in my case, no.

Breast Reconstruction & Reduction

Hi All

on Feb 15th, I had a single mastectomy with immediate implant reconstruction, and my second op is now booked for 4th May for implant change, and reduction of good boob. My question relates to the reduction of my good boob - do you generally have a drain?  💕💕🎗
