How soon can you bath after a lumpectomy and lump nodes procedure

Hi, I had my op on the 11th December, was wondering how soon people have left it before having a nice soak in the bath.  My wounds have healed quite nicely and the last pieces of glue have left me this morning..

Thanks Ann, I just miss a nice long soak in the tub but on the scale of this I think this is very minor, I get my results from the lumpectomy  and lymph nodes on 3rd Jan I see the consultant then so will wait.

Hi ACS,

I must admit I had a bath from the start, but obviously did not get the op site wet. It was possible, as I had a 2 in incision on the top of the breast through which the 2 nodes, as well as the bc were removed, so no armpit incision.

I'm not sure what the official guidance says, other than not to get the op sites wet before they've healed
