Hi, I have a DCIS diagnosis about to find out about exact treatment but Dr has said surgery and probably radiotherapy. He’s also told me to wean from breastfeeding to assist the surgery. Everything I’ve read and been told from parents and professionals in the breastfeeding world contradicts this advice. Anyone have any experience of this? Have you continued feeding or weaned before treatment?
