Hi Ladies, has anyone had mastectomy followed by immediate LD flap reconstruction (the back muscle one) followed by radiotherapy. Can you please advise if the radiotherapy affected the reconstruction and if so by how much, what was your experience?. I am wondering if I should go for immediate or delayed reconstruction. I would prefer immediate but if going to be damaged wondering if I should really delay? But if its only a little affected then it may still be best to get immediate reconstruction. Any comments would be most appreciated of your experience of immediate LD Flap and then radiotherapy.
