Hi, I've just had a mastectomy, I was offered a lumpectomy, mastectomy with reconstruction or mastectomy then chemo. I've gone for the latter. Op was on 1st, this way I can get everything moving. I don't have implants but I hope this helps, best of luck
I have a week to choose whether to have a single mastectomy with immediate reconstruction or lumpectomy and radiotherapy, I have this choice as already have breast implants and they said that radiotherapy can cause problems. Such a hard decision. Any advice.
