You are having lumpectomy, you should get recovered faster than mine. Sorry to hear that you are losing nipple and areola, which must be a decision from the surgeon to prevent it’s coming back in the future. Good luck to ourselves. Stay positive
I’m having a sentinel node biopsy too, and was told i would be losing my nipple and areola also, which was a shock. My goal has been surgery for 6 long weeks but with feeling so well and energetic, I’m so worried that things will change after surgery and that this will consume my life for a long time and expecting to be unwell. I must keep positive and push on… one day at a time as I read on the forum by members. Thoughts are with you all 👍🏻 xx
Yes I hope so… 🤞🏻
@siag @Thanks for the post. Good luck to you too. Is your surgery just the day case?

I wonder how soon I can walk after the surgery?
Hi Angela1234
Sending a virtual hug, you will be fine. I had right mastectomy with lymph nodes removal 10 days ago. I'm still waiting for results from surgery to see what other treatment I shall be getting. It can be scary but there are lots of lovely people on here with lots of advice if you need it. Wishing you well for the 7th. 💕
