I was advised to self isolate for 14 days and then the track and trace system (or whatever it is called) emailed asking me for names of people I had been with in the previous few days. I was really puzzled because I had hardly been out and I had had no symptoms.
But then things took a bizarre twist - I ordered home testing kits for everyone I live with (and an extra to retest myself) and four days after my positive test, we all tested negative - yes, even me. So I am assuming I probably did have it but I had no symptoms at all and it was gone by the time I did the second test.
I have another test booked a week on Monday, which is three days before my next Herceptin injection.
Sending best wishes,
I had my second Herceptin injection yesterday, which all seemed to go smoothly. But two hours after coming home, the nurse called to say that the coronavirus test that they had done on me on Tuesday had just come back positive. I was flabbergasted - I have been mega careful and I have no symptoms at all.
So I am now having a BIG panic. Will yesterday’s injection compromise my immune system, just when I need it to be getting rid of the virus?
I am in need of reassurance!
