Hi I am 8 days post my first chemo plus phesgo as first line of treatment for primary grade 2 tumour which is HER2 +. I am aware of the possible heart problems associated with phesgo treatment. Since yesterday, whenever I exert myself I feel a slight pain and strange pounding sensation in my chest which last for a second or two. No issues when I’m at rest. I’m unsure as to how concerned I should be.
Hi Andrea , best ring your chemo unit for advice - presume you have been given a number to ring if you have any concerns ?
You should certainly ask but I noticed the same thing when I was undergoing chemo and never mentioned it because the symptoms never lasted long. I just assumed it was a side effect and would go away once I was done. And it has if that’s any consolation.
