Arnica Tabets for wound healing / senokot / probiotics

I just had a call from the Breast specialist nurse.  She said Arnica tablets would be ok providing its not estrogen based.  Saying anything with estrogen in should be avoided stopped etc.

The nurse also said I shouldn't have any pain but most people can manage just on paracetamol.  What do others say that have had a lumpectomy and lymph removal.?

I have a call into the nurse to see if this will be ok.  I was thinking of taking it a few days before the op then once off the cocodamol to starting taking it again.  Has any one else experience of this?

Taking arnica in tablet form I thought will help with internal bruising and swelling.

Reference cocodamol, it has been suggested this may be prescribed and can cause constipation etc.

What pain meds were others prescribed after lumpectomy?

Did anyone feel the need to use Senokot or probiotics to settle the bowel after the pain meds.
