As Dan has said, sorry no one was able to offer a reply to your question about your lump. Often when asked a specific question that a forum member doesn’t have experience of the same you may not get an answer because we are only here to share our knowledge, we can’t offer an informed opinion. We do all know how stressful it is when waiting for a scan to find out more. Once you do have your scan results, and therefore more information about what is found, someone who has been, or is in, a similar position may be able to offer that shared experience.
Good luck and I hope you don’t have to wait too long as the waiting really is the pits.
Thank you for your post.
I am sorry to see that your post hasn't had any response yet. I am hoping that our members will be able to see it and provide their advice or experience.
In the meantime, for clinical questions, please know that our Nurses are always here and happy to talk. You can call them on 0808 800 6000 Monday to Friday 9am-4pm, Saturday 9am-1pm. Or you can post on the Ask Our Nurses board here on the Forum to speak to them.
Sending you our warmest wishes,
Hi, really looking for support. Had a lumpectomy last year plus chemo and radiotherapy for her2+ bc with 1 out of 11 axillary nodes affected. Now on Herceptin. Yesterday was told ultrasound showed 3 enlarged nodes at base of neck and in a panic. Has anyone else got anything similar? I will be having biopsy or a ct scan. Thank you so much. Xx
