Income protection insurance?

I've spoken to a couple of brokers and all say I'd have to wait at least two years post cancer before I can get this kind of insurance again. Do you know of anyone who may be able to help?

Hmm, strange that you can't get your income protection insurance. You should talk to a specialist as soon as possible to allow you to get this type of insurance. Until I became an investor, I did not attach great importance to this type of insurance. I didn't even know that they offer such monthly benefits. Hi Karen, sorry you struggling with finding something suitable...I guess we are much more of a risk after BC....8 found with travel insurance that quotes went down one year post end of treatment....then down again at 3 years and 5 years post treatment....I'm not sure if income protection works like that? Hope you find something out there soon

Hi, 

I'm self-employed and didn't have income protection insurance when diagnosed 10 months ago. I'm trying to get it now, but am being told a hard no. Has anyone else tried ? Any luck, any tips?
