Hey there, I'm sorry to hear about your situation with income protection insurance. It can be tough to navigate the insurance market, especially with pre-existing conditions like cancer. Have you tried contacting any online insurance providers or using comparison websites? Sometimes they can offer more flexible options than traditional brokers. Additionally, some employers offer income protection insurance as a benefit, so it might be worth checking your paystub or contacting your HR department to see if that's an option. A paystub can be a helpful tool for tracking your income and providing proof of earnings.
I've spoken to a couple of brokers and all say I'd have to wait at least two years post cancer before I can get this kind of insurance again. Do you know of anyone who may be able to help?
Hmm, strange that you can't get your income protection insurance. You should talk to a specialist as soon as possible to allow you to get this type of insurance. Until I became an investor, I did not attach great importance to this type of insurance. I didn't even know that they offer such monthly benefits. Well, I found out all these details on Money Under 30, and I am very grateful to them. I've never had any problems making this insurance, so it seems strange that you're having difficulties with it. I hope everything will be fine and it will be possible to get this insurance.
Hi, were you able to find any income protection insurance as a freelancer? Any tips welcome
Sorry ...Karzo.... not Karen
Hi Karen, sorry you struggling with finding something suitable...I guess we are much more of a risk after BC....8 found with travel insurance that quotes went down one year post end of treatment....then down again at 3 years and 5 years post treatment....I'm not sure if income protection works like that? Hope you find something out there soon
Hi! Do you have any more details? Which company was it that helped you? I am still looking to no avail.
Thanks in advance for any more information
In my case a company helped me with this.
Hi sorry you haven’t had a response to your post just bumping it up so hopefully someone with some ideas will respond x
I'm self-employed and didn't have income protection insurance when diagnosed 10 months ago. I'm trying to get it now, but am being told a hard no. Has anyone else tried ? Any luck, any tips?
