Yeah here's a big load of hugs for everyone and all the emotional roller coasters of feelings. Bloody hell we could win a war us lot with our determination and having to deal with such a life change! I had a sleeping tablet last night just to get some kip which has helped! Yes funny what food we go off... Mines coffee, cheese, tomatoes and salad! Today I'm going out for a little walk as only day too I'm sure I'll make it up the drive hehe! Thought I'd give my head an airing and see if my eyebrows blow off too! Breaks are the best! I've done same especially on third week as feel better. Stayed in hotels and going away for a week in March to Northumberland with partner and her kids. Staying right on the beach in a cottage to walk and looking in rock pools! It's a great focus. I agree with letting nurses etc deal with what's best. All the staff are amazing and feel very supported as it all seems confusing at times. Going for a soak In the bath! Always a winner!! Xxxx ... View more

Hi Ali b I'm the same this time really feel naff and motion sickness. Feel very numb and jittery. Glad you've come out of it a bit after three days. Hello emmajane. I work in school too and so no work for six months. Hoping not to have to go into half pay!!! Hello coxleoni j think working with kids would be impossible with all the worries this cancer brings and focusing on their needs would be impossible till were all better. Mine was a grade three with - lymph node infected. Fast growing bugger but had not been there that long and had op first. I'm doing a trail so not getting all lump norm de removed so hoping chemo does the trick. . The tac chemo was decided as extra precaution but it is certainly Giving me a good frying! I think drawing and writing is a great way to keep sane and love all the determination we all have. Emotionally it is so hard to manage everything , wait for results and have scans etc and loose hair. We can only come out stronger. Hope everyone else doing ok. Lots of love ❤️ Xxxx ... View more

I know it's sooo pants it will pass in a few days. Are you having your anti sickness tablets three times a day? Can't even have a bevy to help eh! I promise it goes away. Dear both A good bit of laughing is best medicine! The wig I've borrowed till i get fitted is like a thick mullet! My friends laughed so much. I took it to the hotel We were all staying in at weekend and knocked on their door to make them laugh. Unfortunately I got wrong room and a stranger answered and had to apologise!! Hi Mine has gone quick but having tac chemo. Think we're all different with the hair! If it helps now it's actually been shaved off as was all falling out it feels like the wait is over and miles easier. Today was my first proper day and met some people from work for tea. I felt worried but when I met them they were fab. It's a bit draughty but give it a week and think it will feel better! I know we're all different but it dosnt change who we are inside. Hello ladies Good luck this week and hope everyone is ok. Think most of us have second rounds coming. I have bloods and scan tomorrow and chemo Friday. Lost lots hair so now all gone after a shave with the clippers! First day out in public bald!!! wore a hat!!! Love the wig and beach walk Jan yes I agree we all have enough to worry about!
