Thank you both for your replies. I've blasted my whole house today getting ready for Tues. The ironic thing is, I feel as fit as a fiddle. I don't think I will be saying that this time next week!!. Foxy, hope your feeling ok with your treatment so far and I've got everything crossed for you with your other scare. When will you know what it is. But like I said Thurs, hopefully whatever it is, the chemo will knock everything into kingdom come. Xx Taran, do u start Tues too?? Good luck with it. I'm getting nervous now. I still havnt told the kids yet?? I know I will need to to, very very soon. But want to hold out until the summer holidays at least. I'm worried about them too. Hello Emma, sorry you have to join us to. I was DX a few weeks ago and it still hasn't sunk in at all. I'm just overwhelmed with it all. I've been to chemo unit today for pre op...ill start next Tues. We've both also posted in the chemo June starters, if you would like to chat to us there Emma. Anon, sorry to hear you're having a bad day. I've read, it gets easier, but I can't see that being possible at the moment. I just want this all over. Katy, I'm sorry to hear your story and that you are here too. I'm 37 and was DX tn grade 3 on 26 may. I'm starting chemo next week. I'm sorry I can't offer much advice to you, only support. Foxy, I'm sorry to hear this. As if you've not got enough to think about already. Hopefully it won't be anything serious. Hi ladies...just want to let you know, I will be starting by chemo next tues. Ive been reading all your posts and getting lots of tips and advice. I hope those who have started are all doing as best you can. buster, I'm sorry to read you are having a few problems, hope you are ok. x I feel ready to face the treatment and get on with fighting this unwelcome part of my life. but have so many doubts about what will happen afterwards and this scares the hell out of me. hi, ive calmed down a bit now. had a cuppa and stopped reading (until the morning ;)) the other ladies journeys are so interesting to read, to see how they coped with dx and treatment etc, but theres one or two that really get you thinking. ive been on this forum ever since I found my lump and it has really helped me. just having a down moment I think. scared about my future. don't stress about work, that's the least of your worries, your boss will have to understand and accommodate things. my onc advised me not to work during treatment at all, I work in a office but do work shifts. My chemo starts tuesday too. Im glad to be getting things progresses, but its all just hit me again...   I am still awake, as having a really bad time at the mo. just havent been able to get to sleep. I am just constantly reading other stories and info..my head is in overdrive. Since being told definate TN im in shock all over again.   I was worried about my scan results, they all came back clear, thankfully, but now I am back to being worried and petrified about the tn. How old are you Suzanne, if you don't me asking? I work, but not been back since dx. Although I want to go back, just for a bit of normality. I work shifts and my team are on nights so cant face nights at the moment. my onc advised me not to go back until at least after my 1st chemo to see how I feel. who knows? has all your treatment finished now then. x how are you feeling. x ... Hello Anon, Sorry that you are here. I am 37 too, its such a shock isnt it. I have been in denial ever since my dx 2 weeks ago. Found out yesterday that I was triple neg. too. I was expecting that result though, partly due to my age. I will be starting chemo very soon, but have no date yet (within the next 2 weeks), will then have surgery and rads. I have a very supportive family and friend network and I can talk to them whenever, but for some reason, coming on here and talking with ladies who are in the exact same position as me, really helps me. Ive been offered counselling, but at the minute this forum is helping me deal with things (a bit). Hi Taran, hope you had a nice weekend away. Having a few days away with girls really helped take my mind off things. Ive not told my children yet, just cant do it. I got the news yesterday that my bc is tn too. Onc confirmed it was grade 3 stg2. I had already guessed it would be TN. But its still abit of a shock. The cancer is about 2cm and i have have pos node involvement. I will be starting chemo any day now...not sure when, I am waiting for a phone call to have a tour round the chemo unit! I have read, read and re-read about tn and although there are plently of positive stories out there, there are also not so positive stories. im scared of re-occurence before ive even started chemo. i just cant get it off my mind. I am 37 with two girls 8 and 11. I feel I have been given an early death sentence and worse that i could have passed this onto my girls now too. I read that 15% of bc's are tn...but there seem so many being diagnosed with it. My onc told me there is lots of reserarch being made into tn and said something about a new medicine being on trial which may be available in 12 months time?? I just want to know there is some hope to hold onto. I want to beat this,not only for me, but for my girls to. I just hope i can do it. xx ... View more

Suzie.... My heart goes out to you. I know how your feeling. I felt and still feel the same. The first few days after dx I was in prices. I could not stop crying. All I keep thinking about are my children who are 8 and 11... How are they going to get through this, let alone me??? I'm scared too, your not alone.
