Hello hope you are ok , yes I still had my drugs Chemo tablet, injections in my bum, 1 bone injection in my arm once a month probably for the rest of my life as I am 76, this all started in 2017 had breast cancer then came back December 2020 it’s a horrible illness and it makes you wonder how we cope with it but we must get strength from somewhere, I will be thinking of you the forum helps a lot, lovely ladies on here take care look after yourself.   Pam. ... I've never vomitted whilst having a CT scan but I do have an allergic reaction to the contrast and come out in a rash all over and need strong antihistamines to get rid of it.  I now have my scan without the contrast and my oncologist says the scans are fine to read.  Also I attend just 15 mins before the appointment and drink a litre of fluid in the hour before I'm due to go in, either squash or water.  This reduces the amount of time you're sitting in the waiting room and is part of their covid control measures.  Maybe your oncologist would agree to you having future scans without contrast.  So sorry you've had that experience, itust have been very distressing for you. ... Thank you for your replies they have gone up a bit the Doctors don’t seem to worry about it, I am still on 125mg . Denosumab. . Oncologist wants me to have Radiotheraphy on my hip but can’t make up my mind to have it, has anyone on here had it. ... View more
