Yay Shi! First one down!! My Ct scan went fine. People are lovely. I’m covered in pen and plasters which have to stay in place until I start on 26th. Could be tricky. No tats for me. Rach x

Morning everyone, Plan on going for a walk this morning and a girls afternoon later, the boys are off to football. Karen, you are a Wonder Woman!! Sue, I love a zoo, let me know if Dublin's is any good. Ive got my rads planning on Thursday and, like you, trying to think of what I should ask about. Don’t know when I should start on tamoxifen, my onc doesn’t prescribe it but he gave me a letter to give to my GP. Might need to give them a call to find out. Right, back to my crocheting x

Crikey, there’s a lot of May babies! I’m trying to make my first crocheted knocker and getting in a tangle with the yarn. It’s like blooming spaghetti. Patience is a virtue, I’m told. It’s a lovely sunny day and I’m hoping to get out for a short walk today. Stayed in yesterday and I get a bit stir crazy.

Shi, my tshirt turned up yesterday but it’s too ruddy small. It’ll have to wait until I’ve lost some weight. I keep piling it on, another 2 lbs since previous chemo. Never mind, back to the chocs and nuts 😳

Fairy, my friend is a civil servant and has a lady working for her who is recently diagnosed. My friend has been sent on courses to ensure she knows exactly what’s needed/expected. She’s clued me up on all sorts and keeps trying to make sure my company are complying too. Hopefully you’ll get the same support when you’re back. Good luck with it x

Cassie, what a lovely surprise! Meesh, you’re afternoon tea sounds delicious. I’m at yucky mouth stage so I’m waiting for things to taste nice again. Chippy tea didn’t quite taste the same 😞 I’ve no plans for the weekend as my steroids stop tomorrow so it’ll be whatever I can manage. Maybe just a small walk. My first radiotherapy appointment is in a couple of weeks, I’m really hoping I don’t have to hold my breath. I’m not good at that.
