Oh, I’d forgotten about the nodes. Had two removed and they were clear but oncotype was 24 smack bang in the middle of intermediate so I was given a choice for chemo. Oncotyping is only done for bc that meets certain criteria I think. Gives a risk factor for chance of return.

Meesh, I’d be interested in your recipe for homemade curl cream if you’d be ok sharing. OMG Cassie, 4 attempts!! Hope you’re feeling ok now x. Now they’re not allowed to use my right arm for stuff and my left doesn’t seem to have any veins 😳 they’ve given me a portacath which is ace. They just plug straight in to it for bloods and for chemo with only the big deep breath thing needed. I guess the picc is similar. As for where we’re all at, I’ve had the lump removed and a reconstruction so chemo and then radiotherapy left for me. Rach x

Morning all, the not washing my hair experiment as come to an end. I could face it no longer 😳 now I’m trying to decide if all the hair I’m seeing come out is a regular week’s worth or if it’s started. Hi everyone. Ace news on coming home Shi! Haven’t had chance to catch up today but hope everyone is well. After feeling fished all night with a higher temperature I went in to have my bloods checks earlier. Feels like I have flu but apparently it’s a side effect of having the WBC boost injection. Bloods came back fine so quite relieved but still feeling flu-y and knackered. Here’s hoping for a good day 7. X

Hi Jellytot. The nausea is bad. Keep on top of it, they gave me loads of extra anti sickness meds and today’s my day 5 and I’m down to just 1 Domperidone so far. I also use seasick bands on my wrists, who knows if they work but I’ll try anything!!! I’m going to have to drive 20 miles to give my bloods which is a bit cack. Not sure why I can’t do it locally. Morning, Just catching up on last night’s posts and chuckling away. Loving the idea of the Russian call girl 😊. I still can’t get my head around a wig but I’m sure the tide will turn. Maybe I should treat myself to a smooth glossy bright colour. It’d be a massive change from my mousey curly mess. Shi, I reply hope they let you out soon! Ali, good luck on the bloods. Jencat, hope you managed to sleep ok on your first night. I was feeling brave so went out to the pub, had a coke and felt sick as a pig.
