Hi Isiah I am day 14/15 if normal with 5 boosters after. I had rad today and then my next one is 27th when you think it’s only 1 day extra off as it’s usually Monday - Friday with Saturday and Sunday off. Then next week it’s Wednesday - Saturday with Sunday and Monday off. Ruth x

Jay. I don’t have the sickness but when I haven’t drank while I’m sleeping waking up with horrendous headaches so it’s now 5am and I’ve had bottle of water pint glass of orange juice and a cup of tea and my head is settling. I’m guessing as I have been for a wee so much before I sleep nothing left by the time I wake up lol 😂

Well glad it’s all over. I know what you mean about Christmas dreading the thought of grocery shopping might try tomorrow evening instead of Saturday. I have treatment on Saturday so it would be the middle of the day before I could go. So pleased your done put your feet up and relax and have a pasty for me 😂 😜 😘 . Until you have been to Northern Ireland you haven’t had a pasty!!! All the best for Christmas and New Year xxx

It really isn’t that bad at my planning I used a practice machine so they can measure your normal breathing pattern. Oh I also wear goggles with a green for go light and red for stop and then a bar at the top where you have to hold your breath and then the second counter. I think the worst bit is the dryness in your mouth after and your lips take water and lip balm for after. The staff couldn’t be nicer and they know it’s daunting and they put you at easy. But try not to worry tonight I got myself all wound up for nothing. Good luck and let us know how you get on xx

Hi Crocrazy I am doing the breath cold at the moment with the machine. I don’t have asthma but have had a horrendous cold this week and feel very chesty and have managed ok. You have the mouthpiece where you breathe normally and a peg on your nose but they are fine if you need a breath or have to cough as the machine stops when you release your breath and then will start up again. I get 3 different blasts and my time holds are 41/22/29 seconds. Hope this puts your mind at ease Ruth xx

Hi all Half way through today 10/20 skin is all okay except for nipple which is about 3 times the size of the other one. No rash no itching just very hot and nipple so tender they have given me pads to put in my bra to stop it rubbing which is helping. Hope everyone is doing well. Ruth xx

Hi all Got my blood tests back Friday evening but I knew the answer Friday morning I have flu even my teeth hurt. Just staying in bed resting and going to treatment was want to carry on and finish as planned. Xx

Hi all hope everyone is good. Blood tests have all come back normal so thinking just exhaustion. To add to that left home at 8am today for rads took 2 3/4 hours instead of 45 mins got back home 1.15pm been at docs with little one who has had a cold all week now in her chest. I can feel it in my nose just want to crawl into bed and get up on Monday. But my in laws coming tomorrow (obviously not invited) but we’ll they are coming regardless so no rest tomorrow. Hi all Just back from gp’s legs went all wobbly and I couldn’t move knees were shaking and then my arms felt all wobbly. Checked my blood sugar blood pressure which are both ok taken blood tests to check hot anemia, I already have folic acid anemia so have to take it everyday. I’m not dehydrated as today I’ve gone through 7 bottles of Evian plus fresh juice. Have my oncologist appt tomorrow so hopefully all ok. Just feel completely drained. Xx

Yeah 5/20 done quarter of a way there. I am really tired but was going into it as I don’t sleep well normally. One thing I wanted to check ladies while the machine is on are you naked upper half? I am sure I have read some ladies say that - I’m covered with a sheet of paper, the ones they put on the bed - was just curious. Thanks Ruth xx
