Hi jazza, I had meltdown yesterday too and keep thinking... This time next week!!!  I don't know what treatment is next, still waiting for Her,2 results, had to have my biopsy redone as not enough tissue, I do know I am ER,+ so hormones, the not knowing is dreadful isn't it.  Initial biopsy showed 30,mm grade ,1 ductal tumour and a few spots so boob going as only A cup and not much left behind. Hi Jazza, good luck with the appointment and so sorry to hear about your partner, you sound like you still have some lovely support around you though and we are all here, waiting to hear about your surgery and the next steps ahead.  Sadly nobody really knows how this feels unless you dealing with it, my husband, kids family and friends are truly wonderful but unless you are on this road its hard to comprehend the wide range of emotions you feel and how quickly they change.  Thinking of you... ... Hello May surgery ladies, hope you are bearing up.   I'm starting to really panic as the enormity of what will happen next sets in.  Feeling very teary despite the beautiful weather.  I went into town in Saturday and had a real wobble, felt like everyone else was going about their lives and mine is upside down, . anyone else feel like that?  Almost feel jealous of everyone  else.  My daughter asked me last night if I am going to be ok, broke my heart!!!   ... Just heard from hospital, results for HER2 have come back inconclusive again so have to be sent off to Nottingham again.  BCN advised me to go ahead with surgery on 16th May as they know it is ER+ and Grade 1 and will be best to get it out and then have hercepticin if required afterwards and get on with hormone treatment.   Still will be wondering about this results but may be they will arrive next week before surgery.   At least I get this thing out of me soon!   ... Hello, sorry to hear you have joined the club.  I am still waiting for the Her2 results as they didn't have enough tissue from the first biopsy.  I had the biopsy redone on Monday so surgery postponed until 16 may.  It's a tough time waiting for results though these forums are a great source of comfort and information.  Everyone says it gets better once you have a treatment plan... Hi, I am due to have mastectomy on 16th may, no reconstruction and SNB removal.  I was due to have surgery on .1 may but it got postponed as Her2 results not back.  I know how you feel, I am looking forward to some thing finally happening. Don't believe this, just had call from my surgeon to say that the HER2 test has come back as "insufficient tissue" (I had the biopsy on 3 April and they only now decide that!!!).  Which means I have to decide whether to have surgery tomorrow without a result or have more biopsies today and wait another 2 weeks.  Don't know what to do, am going to Breast Clinic this afternoon to ask some more questions but head all over the place now.   ... Hi ladies,   I was diagnosed on 3 April and can completely get how you are feeling.   Its as if I am in a sick dream that I will eventually wake up from.  I can be completely came and resigned one second and then in tears and on my knees the next. I am still awaiting a treatment plan, was due a single MX tomorrow but am still awaiting test results so that may be shifted in place of chemo.   Can't believe this is happening as I feel so well at present... be strong,, the positive responses on here really help.  I find I need to read them every so often just to pick myself up and keep going.  Having a son just starting his GCSEs is probably teh worst timing in teh world but he is being amazing and a beautiful 13 year old daughter holding my hand and telling me she will love me "boobless or hairless" helps too.  ... I have to ring at 2pm to find out if they are back, if they are not I can go in at 3pm to see the consultant/surgeon to discuss the options as I am due to have the radioactive injection for the SNB tomorrow at 4pm.  I am thinking I will delay the surgery if the results are not back in as want the option of the best treatment should HER2 be positive.   Its all the unknown waiting that stresses me, I keep worrying it will be growing and spreading as I was diagnosed on 3 April ... Thanks Ali49,  was good to read your positive story.   I am still waiting for the HER2 results, I am due to have MX tomorrow but this may be cancelled if they are not back.  Can you tell me, do you only have the Pertuzemab during chemo and then it stops?  Sorry I am a bit confused about all of this, just keep thinking HER2 positive is a bad thing.   I had geared myself up for the operation tomorrow, my children were aware and now I feel I am in limbo again.   Scared! ... Well today I should find out if those dreaded HER2 results have turned up, if they have and are negative I can have my surgery tomorrow, if not I will have to postpone it in case they are positive and I need chemo beforehand... I don't know what to think anymore.  Just read up on HER2 Positive and am now really scared this is a bad thing?   Should I be worried?  I am also ER+   Have been very positive over the weekend but it hit me this morning when saying goodbye to the children that I may not see them grow up.. feeling very very down. ...
