Helen - Re: working with developer to improve convenient access to Latest Posts, would it not be feasible to just place on the front page the link which Anna BCC posted on the Bring Back Latest Posts thread on 16/09/2013 03.55pm? This brings up a list showing the latest post on each thread, which I respectfully suggest is what the majority of us on here would prefer.

I had a PICC line for Herceptin for 6-7 months till my veins recovered. It was OK and I was fortunate enough not to get any infections. It was a bit of an inconvenience though having to get the site cleaned and dressed every week.

LuckyLass, the Feedback section has been really quiet for ages now. Yours was the first new post for a long time. Maybe people have given up because it seems that even though BCC occasionally assures us that our comments are being taken on board, nothing much ever seems to happen to address problems or improve the situation.

The actual sessions only last about 10 minutes, including dressing & undressing, but it is hard to predict how long you could find yourself sitting in the waiting room beforehand. That will vary between hospitals.

That's great, poemsgalore, that you are still able to wear it. I find the weight of my silicone one hurts my shoulder if I wear it all day and I wear my KK at home in the evenings, but after being used to the extra weight over about 5 years I find it hard to get used to.

i got an Amoema Contact one 3 years ago and it leaked on the first wearing. I took it back to the nurse who insisted that I must have scratched or dropped it or something, but eventually agreed to replace it. When the 2nd one also leaked I put a piece of Elastoplast on it because I didn't want to face her again. That was 3 years ago. This thread has reminded me I need to get a new one soon before it disintegrates! Regarding the Knitted Knockers, they are more suitable for someone who has had recent surgery as they are soft and not weighted, but most people need a silicone breast form for the sake of balance. It is really wonderful though that there are such good kind people in the world who use their time, skills and money to provide this service.

I see a link to latest posts has been added on the front page ( above the coloured boxes). Helen BCC has made a reference to it in the Announcements section of this forum and requested feedback so here's mine: It's a start but it comes nowhere near what most of us are asking for because it only shows 5 thread updates, meaning that unless we are looking at it all the time loads of posts will disappear unseen by anyone other than those who only have one or two sections they ever look at on the board. Would it not be possible to be like other forums and have a grid with all forum titles and latest posts listed? A link to this grid could be posted above the coloured boxes as before. If you did this then you could save space by dispensing with the latest post sections under each coloured box category which also are of little use anyway.

Yes the same thing happened to me with my second dose. In my case they did not administer any more of the docetaxel but changed me back to FEC. I was glad because I had bad side effects (back pain) after the first dose.

Thanks for your post Rae. Someone else also mentioned KK on another thread but I had no success in finding it again. (Please fix the search facility BCC!) A google search led me to your thread which I had never seen before so for some strange reason maybe it didn't appear on the Latest Posts list. Anyway I have received a lovely knitted knocker from these kind thoughtful people and am really touched that they care enough to do this. I will be sending a donation to help them with their work.

Ruby, many of us have been pleading for a long, long time with BCC to look into the problem that you have described with Latest Posts, but they just keep telling us to 'be patient' (See the Forum Site Feedback section of 'Welcome to the forum'). I really don't understand why it was set up like that when as far as I can see every other forum on the internet has only the latest post per thread shown on their list.
