Hello KG,
I'm sorry that you have found yourself in this situation. This forum is a good place to find information and connect with other people in a similar situation. I'm not in the same position as you, although I was 37 when I was initially diagnosed with young children. The only 'advice' I would give you is to talk to people about how you're feeling (if that's ok for you) and if possible, inlist the help of friends and family. Coping with a toddler and a small baby is exhausting enough without the added stress of dealing with a cancer diagnosis. I really hope you have results very soon and a clear treatment plan organised. Then you will see a way forward and stay in control. Love to you and a hug 🙂

I had grade 1 in 1993 and rads. Then a local recurrence in right breast in 2005. I had a mastectomy and delayed recon. I've now discovered a lump in my left breast. I've called the breast clinic and I'm waiting for an appointment. I'm in that dreadful phase of 'not knowing'. Not knowing if I should be worried ( although I am) not knowing if I should tell anyone, as I feel rather silly if it's nothing. We have had a dreadful year. My mum died of Ca kidney after a really short illness in July and I nursed her at home. My husband is very stressed at work and I don't want to cause him unecessary worry. At this stage I certainly don't want to tell my boys. Oh dear, I hate this stage so much!!
Good to be able to visit here again after all these years and to know that there is still a sounding board. 🙂

Thank you for replying to my question. I've lookd around at a few more posts and it does seem that bleeding is quite common. Like you, I'm sure there isn't a problem, but I will go back to GP if I don't hear from him soon. Yes, you prob need to see your GP again. More hosp visits!!

Hi,
Just wondering if anyone has had similar experience.
I had mastectomy in Nov '05 and started Zoladex Feb '06 as I am premenopausal. Came off Zoladex in May and started Tamoxifen. I started bleeding over the weekend. Seemed very odd after so many years. Called BCC Helpline and found info helpful. Seen GP this a.m and he is going to call gynae consultant to discuss.
Any ideas anyone??

Hi everyone,
I recently had reconstruction and now have no need for 2 Nicola Jane swimming costumes and 1 bikini. They are size 36 and in really good condition. The costumes are blue; one navy and the other turquoise and blue, the bikini is black and white. I could photograph them if your interested and send you pics.

Hiya,
I had LD on about 4 weeks ago. My port is uncomfortable too as it sits right underneath my bra/crop top band. I spoke to my cons about it and he said it can be removed under local with a very small scar and no need for an overnight stay. My implant isn't fully inflated yet, but as soon as it is I'm going to have to port out.
