This seems to have been an ongoing problem for months and months. So frustrating. My mum is on this tablet and every month it is hit or miss whether we have to phone round all the local pharmacies to get some. We tried her GP too. He didnt seem to want to know. I was told not to use any soap whatsoever in that area but can use pitrok deodrant. Strange how we are all told different things. Got told off for using too much aqueous cream lol. Had been told previous day that I could use the cream up to 2 hours before my appointment so had slapped some on in the morning. Was 3 hours later at my appointment that I was told Im using too much. Had 6 sessions so far. Skin ok but nipple still sore but not so sore as few days ago which I put down to slapping on too much aqueous lol. Surprised how tired Im getting though. 3rd session today. Nipple feels sore already 😞 . Been slapping on the aqueous cream regularly. Not allowed to use regular deodrant but have been told I can use Pitrok or Crystal. Anyone used these and are they worth it. Also how do we get rid of hair there lol (cant shave or use creams). Appointments have been on time so far and even early. I get transport which picks me up at 8am for a morning appointment and 12noon for an afternoon appointment. Got through one months worth of APS Tamoxifen with hardly any side effects. New packet is that Wockhardt tamoxifen so will see if that brand will bring on the side effects (hope not). Still havent got my antidepressant sorted yet. Went to print out the link I gave in another thread and it says not available. Wonder why that is? ... View more

Zap 1 today. Felt a bit scarey all that equipment moving around me. Guess will get use to it. Appt was for 3pm. Transport picked me up at 12 and luckily they saw me early and was back home by 1.30, so was back home before my appt time lol. Only allowed to apply aqueous cream. No other cream allowed. Hi Carol and sunset. Wondering what you are putting on your skin to try to prevent soreness. I've seen people recommend aloe vera here. I have a big tub of E45 cream. Last month didnt get my period when it was due, after starting tammox and now this months is due and started grrrr. Was hoping that would be one SE I get (i.e. no periods lol). Other than that still nothing major. No hot flushes. Still not taking the EPO but still taking the Prozac. Still waiting to see GP........ ... View more

Got a phone call yesterday to say rads has been bought forward to this friday. So means I should finish 15th Oct. Will give me an extra week for some healing if the skin does break down or at least give me a chance to get comfortable with whatever condition my skin is in and better able to manage it I hope. Due to fly to Malaysia and China end of October. Having rads first. Axa wouldnt insure me and on moneysavingexpert website they said to avoid Axa. Got insurance with pulse travel insurance eventually. Didnt know about getting letter re fit to travel. Will have to ask my gp. I guess they charge for the letter. Aggghhhh it's all so confusing. I am another one that is not getting side effects with tam, and was told by my bcn that not everyone gets side effects and it doesnt mean the tam is not working. But then again the bcn told me prozac and tam is ok, and some on here saying no way is prozac and tam ok. BCN also told me evening primrose oil is ok (I've stopped taking that tho, as some here had said it stops tam working). Cant just stop the prozac though and still waiting for GP to change it to effexor but is still looking into it due to what bcn has said. ... View more
