boob still sore when touched,knocked,stretched,pulled.
if i do a breast check(though its so lumpy now i dont know what im looking for lol) i have to grit my teeth

hi all
im trying to lose a bit of weight, always was really skinny but that altered a bit when i had a baby lol.
lost a load of weight through chemo as really ill but in the yr following that i rejoyced in not being ill and ate like a pig lol
so im not buying bread and having rivita, doing long walks with dog but im not good at not eating the snacks
could live with it but for the belly that looks like 5 mths gone! its most odd, can i blame it on tamoxifen?

i think ni is paid while on income support?. i worked for 25yrs so was all paid up then
thankyou all for the advice im sure i will get all questions answered at the jobcentre next week though its always very rushed
is it right you only get jsa for 6mths? thats a worry as im not getting replys from cvs i have sent off
dixons can i ask if it a primary cancer you have?

ive had a course of cbt therapy which helped
i do feel ready to do some sort of job but what i dont know
i cant be in a hot busy enviroment as i panic
im only trained to work with race horses so thats out lol
i did do some cleaning but dont think i could do 16 hrs worth

hi
next week i go to the jobcentre to be moved from income support to jsa as my child is 7yrs next week
my primary dx was aug 09,wle,chemo,rads and tamoxifen
though i am with out doubt much better,there is still so much i cant do
i was hospitalised 4 times during chemo and it has left some lasting effects
im really struggling to find any work i would be upto doing
im also on antidepressents for anxiety and panic attacs
my lone parent adviser mentioned esa in passing but said hardly anyone gets it!
is it right you only get jsa for 6 mths then its stopped?
do i go down the esa route?
not sure which way to turn regarding the change in benefits

i loved my chillow but after a yr i needed to fill it up again and it was never the same and the water smelt inside and it says you have to throw away then

i was dx aug 09
chemo and rads finished in march 2010
then tam and citralopram to date
i didnt lose nails through chemo but they wernt very good, lost all hair
now hair is in really bad condition, worse than when it was growing back!
i do have it dyed,some bleach and i do straighten
i have it trimmed regulaly and use good products
if i rub the ends of the hair between my fingers it breaks off!!
my nails are so sore
they did start to grow well and for ages i had varnish on all the time
now they just split and peel off before they have any length at all so they are so sore
anyone have any tips? what am i lacking for this to happen?

hi there
i started tam in march 2010, pretty horendous for the 1st yr to be honest, every side effect under the sun until i changed brands a few times
the anxiety, and panic didnt change though and it made my asthma worse
i would lay and in bed panicing about my breathing! hod to go to hospital once!
anyway..
had cbt therapy and citralapram and im MUCH better
have just been on a caravan holiday with my little boy which i would never have b een able to do before

hi all
i finished chemo in march 2010 and i still dont have enough eyebrows to see or tint to look more
im rubbish at drawing them in
i have a nice big fringe now which helps lol
i dont really want to have permenent tatoos as what if they grow back in a different place lol or the tattooist gets them wonky
is there such a thing as semi permenent?

it is difficult to know what to say to people
im a yr into tamoxifen now and when people say so your ok now? i say at the moment
do we say i have breast cancer
had breast cancer
or im having treatment for breast cancer
but most people presume as my hair is back and im out and about now that im ok
its hard to get them to understand the tiredness and bad days that still sometimes creep up

hi all
im about ready to start a part time job i think.
my question is, i understood that if you leave a job or get the sack you dont get your benefits for 6 weeks.
so im a little worried that if i start a job and find i cant do it i wont get my benefits straight away? would a letter from my dr as to why ive had to leave the job work?
any help appreciated please
im a single mum in rented accomodation so cant go a week with no money from somewhere

no i was never told about hands and feet in cold stuff!
i lost my eye brows and lashes by about tax 2, lashes are back although shorter than before but brows are very sparse still.
as the others have said tax seems to floor you more than fec but i just tried to keep in my mind i was over half way through and the end was in sight!!
rest as much as you can and dont over do it when you think you feel ok as you might suffer the next day
oh and get some good books for when your not sleeping on the steroids

i had 3 of each and finished a yr ago now
i was told to keep nails painted with dark nailvarnish like purple as they react to the uv light
i didnt lose any but got a yellow tinge to them and deep ridges.
and even now they get to a certain length and split
i too was very sick on fec and stayed in hospital twice for a week at a time
with low bloods and infections
the tax didnt make me sick but exhausted me,i think it all builds up and by number 5 your body is saying enough!
the steroids i think are to stop you having a reaction to the tax? but im not sure
also if you lost your hair it will start to grow back
