Hi ladies, Another very very long and stressful day, you won't believe it!!!!! Got to hospital at 9. Blood 9.15. (Great) Blood results 11.45 ( gggrrr) but they are fine !! Wait longer 12.45 catheter painful 1.15 pre meds 2pm oh sorry mrs smith we didn't see the email that your consultant sent , she reduced the does by20% We have the full dose but we can't give it to you and the pharmacy has a half day closing on Fridays #%^*%%%%^^**%%€$$¥ those are swear words !!!!! In ,y head not at them . End up at home at 3pm . Monday have to go back. Sooo frustrated. On a happier note , watched a rerun of master chief with Marcus waring ... Hi ladies, Bloods are STILL low !!!! Fed up big time!! They are on the up so if everyone crossed their fingers I think Friday is a promise! I have my assessment for portacath tomorrow so I will have been at the hospital 4 days out of 5 ! Must keep positive. I think I will have a reduced amount too Bev. Hi ladies, Feeling better today so feeling hopeful for treatment tomorrow. I love Xmas too and as we moved to a new house in January this will be our first Xmas . Getting a real tree for the bay window and going ott with decs!! Family including nice and nephew here on Xmas day so will put stockings up and lots of chochies on the tree! Hi ladies, It must have been something in the air in M & S stores as I felt really odd on Thursday as I had a mooch round. Had to sit down and gather myself for ages. Got back home and went to bed. Yesterday was the 3rd taxol and after waiting for my bloods the nurse came back and said my bloods had not recovered and I was also nuetrapenic!!! No wonder I felt rubbish! Hi ladies, Had my first taxol yesterday, appt at 9.30 out at 2pm phew!!! I had the cold cap ..... Boy oh boy was it hard going at the beginning , thought I was going to have to take it off it was so unbearable! But stuck it out as my head just went numb, not sure I can do this every week :(. Hi everyone, Trying to keep busy today as tomorrow is my first taxol of many! Each week with a week off for 18 weeks. I am attempting to make bagels, anyone tried?
