welcome new pinkies. barnypaws, gracetippy,and jam123 we are all around the same times on here, so re read the thread if you have time as prev said youll see how we all are up and down. girls thanx for the tips and fello stories about OH's. it did get worse, we went for a meal last night and ended up bickering, about nothing, where was goin after cemo part 2888, and also about why i cant live with him at the momment, why he will never get married at the moment.!! i was cool with us two before BC, and even up til thursday , i think im in subconcious worry /stress about tommorow. i also am mad that my life isnt in my control and een with OH. its like im not choosing or having a say in anythink at the moment. he did say we could get a place togther when this is all over and rent his out. how the past can scar people, and not allow them to trust, or maybe BC has made me want to say F**k it and give it a go earlyer than i would or should. we are realy ok as we are. got involeved with the local rememberance service today, and the older people were all very concerned i didnt get cold in prep for tommorow. bless. its times like this when u se how many people care. im ok abbout tommorow, well i think i am, its got to happen, but once it starts i cant get off the road for a few months. but also get started then finish,.. the unknown is worse always. i keep teelgn myself that well pinkies, thanx for yoru support, and i relaly do not know how id be without you all. xxx i keep focusing on all one day meeting up and having a lovely celebration. xxx good luck Mrs Bird for tommorow, Kerry i mean, lol. and mlkins hope yoru feeling better soon. pink hugs xxxx ... i had a really bad yesterday i wasnt nice, didnt like anyone, my OH or even the 6 month puppy. i dont liek with my oh, its a new realtionship, so he keeps reminding me, its 8 months. when is it not new!! its gonan be compared with his 15 marriage. he says he can cope with this BC, but its a massive thing to happen in a new relationship and he didnt ask for it. hello, i didnt either. his 2 daughters live with him, after cemo he wants me to go back to my moms, i want to stay with him and the girls., but not sure thats extra presure on him. n it all blew up last night. i am upfront, and say and know what i want, he knows he wants a future with me, but takes it slower , especially after being married b4. and says now about the BC makes it a slower process. i cant see the diference, to be honest it makes me wanna spead it all up, incase i one day dont beat this thing. am i slowly killing my relationship because of BC ... hey all. just back form poppy collecting, didnt stand out for too long as was freezing, so helped inside counting. cording seems to be quite common, thanx all for tips and things to do to help it go. i havent got a hoop or a wii, so i my just stand in the lounge and pretend i have both then i can get fit for free. !! lol kazx ... hey . sorry you feel un-supported and that the forum is clicky. its not meant to be. i like others look through loads and comment on those that are relevant. im newish and start fec monday, so cant comment on certain threads. bonds are formed becauseof various reasons, areas people love or dx dates, ect ect. but no one ever minds people joining. well i certainly dont and ive started a thread. i also did a thread and no one commented. but its cool. hope u get sorted. and you change yoru mind about the site and also others that have felt the same, kazxxx ... hey pinkies glad u all got on ok at the hospital and good louise for your fec yesterday. milkie, thats fab news, so at least u can chil for a bit. i woke up this morning, and felt a lump in my arm, just on the underneeth, and like a string feelng. you guessed it, cording. well i got really upset so rang the BCN , she rang me back and said it sounded like cording, but to go and see her. so went straight there. was what we both thought, i need to continue with the excersises but not strain. i think i over strectched yesterday as i hadnt done my excersises for a few days. i never knew that this can be a problem and you ave to be careful with yoru arm for the rest of time, i thought it was while healing!! durrrrr so thats all ok, but left me on tear day!! keep crying for no reason. im all prepared for monday as well as i can be so havent a clue whats up with me. xx ... hey hunny im so sorry to hear your sisters news. this forum is the best support by far that i have had. its by people that undersand and we all speak the same chat, feelings we have are felt by others, so try and get her to join. my best advice to you, is be there for your sis as well as you can, be as normal as you can, and you get the support you need as its hard to watch people you love go through things you cant control. hugs xxx ... hey pinkies. im back, and i have really missed you all. i only have internet at my partners house. and id been at moms for a few days. ive just read all the posts to cacth up with how u all are. im glad yoru all ok, and sorry some are still sufferng with fluid, and waisted journeys. im loving our group here, and others are more than welcome to join in, so welcome anyone i havent welcomed. well, im in south bham, and i dotn mind travellin to meet , or i dotn mind arranging a meet. ive had loads of ideas of what we could do. and it would be lovely to meet up, to put faces to posts and to give real pink hugs. xx i think everyone is doing amzing, the thread is getting so more up beat, and our humour and personalitys are comming through. i am not working,ive choosen to stay off the time being, but i am also recovering from a throat operation that was done the day i had the lumpectomy. i had part of my windpipe taken out, so im due sme time off!! i am also voluntary for the royal british legion, so this time of year is particially special, i usually go to london to attend the cenataph followed by a trip to the somme in france to lay a wreath for my great grandad. so this year i cant do all that, what with appointments here and there and cemo fec 1 monday. So i decided that the BC can have this year of my life and if i dotn achieve much in that year i wont beat myself up about it, ill acept that i may not be able to do all i want, however come nov next year, its mine again.xx had the pre cemo chat and the nurse was nice but was a bit over on the empathy in her voice, but anyway, side effects numbers rules all noted. lol. had bloods taken, had flu jab, attended 11am service today for poppy day, and then got my cemo emergency pack sorted. it does look like a bunker preped for war!!! I bag for hospital ready, list of numbers ready, shopping list of cemo emergeny pack incase i need to pass it to anyone. all this prepared and maybe wont need it!! picked up wig, and stand and brush!! and lenor!! and also have abotu 7 hats!!, lady accross road is knitting me some flowwers to attach to side. just need sick bowl, but cant find a black one. lol glad to be back pinkies, and sorry i havent been around to support you all. xx kazx ps, good luck girls for hospitals tommorow xxx ... morning pinkies. firstly i wsnt to let you know im not on line till thursday after this message,but will be thinking of you all. xxxx today i am gong for bloods and the pre cemo chat. in prep for monday. am i scared?? yeh of the unknown, il cemo make me ill will it not, what day will i choose to shave my head? id like to go away for a year deal with it and come back like me again. but i suppose thats the old kaz pre BC, how can any of us be the same agan? i am meting a fellow forum member on thurday for cupcake and cofee. she is a year on and doing really well and only lives up the road. anyway she is going away for a pamper weekend with 13 other ladies she met via the forum. i then thought, oooooooooo wouldnt that be a lovely idea for us lot on this thread to aim to do. all meet up next year, when we have got throught this, we could say a year form when this thread started. im sure we could all do with somethink to aim for, for us. xx not as moms, wives partners , daughter,s but for us. little angel, big pink hug for you, try and not be down, you have people that care and love you, and as for the kids, kids are kids eh, and theres no way they will hear your bell haha youd be better of texing them. ! im glad that your on the forum as this is far the best support i have found. so keep posting. xx not sure where you live but in our area we have a primrose hospice, where they also do day things for us pinkies. like massages, facials bits of pampering, all free and also cofee mornings. could you see if there is anythink like that near you. i think our local hosptial also do a once a month meet, like an event. reeb, hope they sort out the fliud, sounds painful. x glad i made you laff. this wil too. i went to hospital yesterday for invasive ultra sound of my heart. and as they do put loads of jelly on you. well it wasnt till i had been adsa and got home that i realised i had smeared the jelly all over my grey top in my boob/heart area,, and was on view for all, what a narna i felt. !! im sure that each time i do somethink over the next 12 months, as thats my time im giving the treatment and hair to return i will make some comedy momement out of it. maybe we shoudl try and post funy things that happen to us too. my partners mom told me this the other day, she has been told beetroot can lower high blood presure, but is scared to eat too much as she knew someone that was on a beetrot diet!!this lady one day went shopping, and had had a bad tummy and unfortuantly messed themselves, well the mess was red and the people n the shop wouldnt let her go without calling an ambulance as they thought ti was blood. !! she ended up goignt o a&e, and having checks and all for too much beetroot. there wasnt actually anythink wrong with her.! she never diested again. lol kaz xxxxx pink hugs and thougths of you all till thursday,. xxxxx ...
