Hi Lynn we are on the same treatment and I don't have scans on the scull either so that must be general with the onc's. My onc doesn't take note of tm's so only have the ct scans. Hi Charlotte. I don't have lots of problems at the mo but these ladies are so inspirational and give me strength that I'll be able to cope. Some of them have been through some very scary and tough times but come out the other end and get back to enjoying their lives again. Hi Nanofthree I'm on blood pressure tablets have been for years (it runs in my family) no side effects from tablets. It will be better to take them then you don't have to worry about blood pressure and your heart. Hope this helps. Janet x ... View more

Mowser sorry to hear you've had crap night. I know the feeling but don't know what we can do. I also have some music I can listen to that sometimes works I have a speaker pillow so I can listen as once OH asleep he doesn't hear anything. Can also use headphones which I sometimes use if want to drown out snoring 😉 it's whatever works It has to have no sudden beat that wakes you back up again. Hope this might help. Hi Janette and Lemon Drizzle, I'm struggling with this cold too. I've got strepsils as well (recommended by pharmacist) for inbetween cough linctus. Pain killers don't seem to be working on headache either. Hate the coughing and sneezing cos it makes me a bit anxious. It seems a bit as if moaning when other ladies have got chemo aches and pains but haven't had a cold that has made me feel this ill for years. Hugs to all. Janet x ... View more

Hi all my primary was 2009 and secondary 2013. Just want to share some lovely news with you. We are going to be grandparents for the first time next June, can't wait :-). Hi fergal jay just reading Nicky's post and just like to add with my primary I had quite a few tumours and one was quite large so I had 8 doses of chemo first then had the surgery then radiotherapy. So everyone is different also had stomach injections as they were trialing them in my area at the time and they were no problem at all.
