Katy, you dint have the Cow night/Bull night without everyone did you? I can see how you would be led astray by H&D. They are very persuasive I believe. Glad all check ups ok and great that joint pain subsiding Grumpy. I have been sharpening my scissors and tidying my sewing thread in preparation for 'The Wedding' clothes. I have also loaded my glue gun for bling sticking, in fact I may need 2 due to the amount of bling needed. I could put them in holsters ready to spray at will.! I like a good read too! ... View more

Hi all, six month check was all good. Mentioned joint aches to doc who just said they are a known side effect of Aromastase Inhibitors and I must keep taking the tablets. Answer I expected I suppose. Katy I still have problems with my back and can't walk far without a 'bend'. This 'bend' is preferably exercised by sitting down but I have been known to drape myself over a rubbish bin on occasion. JCJ, any meal out of a freezer that saves an extra trip to the shops is good! Don't do what I did and serve apple turnovers, chips and beans to your husband though. He didn't want a repeat, not at all adventurous with his food I think that's why our eyesight deteriorates as we get older Katy, so we can't see those pesky blighters! I always get a shock when I look in a mirror in a certain light! LOL Have a good week all K x ... View more

Thank you Katy, I strangely have that gene too! Still not parted with work suits, but the I've got tops I've had for years. I'll say to the girls 'why don't you wear such and such top' and they look at me blankly before saying that they had that when they were 16. LOL! Hi JCJ, I use Eurotunnel. Their criteria for insurance is that your doctor thinks you are fit to go on holiday. So OH and I book a docs appt before we go and ask him, he then enters it on his system and Voila! We are insured. Have not had to claim though, but feel confident with insurance. My aching shoulder has migrated to the other side and I seem to be aching all over today. Think that anastrozole has a lot to answer for ! X ... View more
