GS been accepted for a local football team in the under 10s, he is so proud (so are we). ED round for BB yesterday, managed to cook outside but ate inside. Still nice though. Hi all Sorry to hear your headaches are back Katy. Hope they sort out for you. Happy birthday FF, glad you had good day. Went to a wedding yesterday. They had a photo booth with loads of props for you to have photos taken. Think us oldies were the funniest. Not quick enough to do the changes in the time given so our photos had masks on back to front, poking in eyes with sunglasses frame, funny hats on back to front. We laughed so much! That will be fun Katy, bet you will look 'gawjus'. Been promoted out of the beginners swimming class to the improvers. Sound not much but the improvers do length after length of all the different strokes! I liked being a beginner! I did visit to pub too JCJ. Must admit did not have enough enthusiasm to bake cakes! Hi all. Katy, I am doing ok thank you. I try not to think about my back too much, just take the painkillers when I need them. Had all the family over yesterday and am good today, so can cope with that! Hope you are doing well Foxy, so hope nothing to worry about. ST glad your biopsies were clear. My 6 month check was due Wednesday but was phoned to say that they were very busy so have pushed back to June! Glad you had good weather JCJ. We had some variable weather in Filey. The first night the mist was swirling around the caravans. My brother texted me to say 'don't go out on the moors, especially not carrying a lantern. I've seen in the films that's not a good thing to do in the fog! LOL. We had GS on Mon, Tues and Weds. Went to the seaside, went to see Muppet movie and tried to do kite flying (not enough wind). Have a rest day today. Will put rest of lemon cake, Dorset Apple cake and chocolate fudge cake into plottery shed. Ooh and rest of scones and jam. Had an afternoon tea in Scarborough. Hi all, hope you have had a good weekend.took knitted Easter/Spring bits into school. Oohs and aahs suitably produced. Teacher said she putting Ito a spring corner....and then I saw a little one creeping by, clutching bag. He informed me he was off to play with the toys 'somewhere quiet' - bless him! Katy, I had another epidural which has knocked the leg pain on the head. I seem to be getting on ok as long as I am moving, just have problems standing. Going to use a stick, vanity is plain daft. I am old! Had lovely Mother's Day. ED made dinner last night and baked desserts. Beautiful card (cue tears) flowers and lovely smellies. YD cooked roast dinner today and she and SIL made cupcakes, jam tarts and brownies for tea. Got flowers and a beautiful necklace with poem about mums and daughters. Also very beautiful card (more tears). The dog came haring upstairs this morning with a wrapped present, which he then helped me open. Highly disgusted that he couldn't have any chocolates . Know what you mean about how you look in the mirror. All young ladies I know are involved in the 'nomakeup selfie' for breast cancer. YD asked where mine was. I said to her that it was ok for all these youngsters with their shiny hair and eyes, but I just look old! I just paid to the charity and didn't inflict photo on anyone! Happy birthday to yoo-ooo! Hope you had a lovely day Katy. My stomach (and legs) are not a pretty sight either but if it doesn't bother me it shouldn't bother anyone else! JCJ, I could always do the breast stroke but never learnt front crawl. The problems with my back made breast stroke more difficult so I thought lessons were the answer!
