Hi Kirsti,You are not alone,i too get this.I have been on letrozole for just over a year now.Finished Herceptin 3 weeks ago.I have only been having this happen for the last couple of months,weird sensation,nearly asleep and heart starts to race.Not a nice feeling. Nothing wrong with my heart,have been having regular checks with taking Herceptin.I was thinking along the lines of panic attack?but cant see why when iam relaxed and just drifting off to sleep,very strange. Hi Cheryl17,thanks for your info on your experience,sounds like you are doing really well.I have been living with a mx for 2 years in may so i am very excited to be having a recon.I find prothesis heavy and uncomfortable.Always have to be careful whilst bending forward that folks dont get eyefull of my non breast!(just a gaping hole) I really want a recon but iam very frightened to be having major surgery again.Once they put the sleeping juice in...wake up with new breast,sounds so easy...lol x x x ... Hello Hibald,just been looking on reconstruction and came across your post,i too had a 7cm tumour,had 11 nodes removed of which 4 infected.Had fec-T,radiotheraphy and had my last dose of Herceptin yesterday.I have been to see my PS and i am on the list for LD with implant(sometime in june).What swayed me in this decision was a couple of ladies in waiting room( when i went to see surgeon), who had already had LD reconstructions,they were good enough to show me the implants(in toilets)i was very impressed.Good luck with whichever recon you decide on.x ... Hi Rachael,Iam on Herceptin and Letrozole, I have one more dose of Herceptin to go!!iam in bed at the mo with 2nd chest infection and cold since christmas,oh and a uti about a week ago.Chest xray clear..I think the more herceptin we get the lower our immune systems go. Hi,Ladies i last posted way back in April,i now have 2 more doses to go.Last 2 doses they used my mx side and touch wood no problems.Had no choice as veins in good side have had it!! The time has gone so fast and i wish good luck to all you ladies just starting on Herceptin,some of my SEs:- My nails are always breaking Nose is either blocked or running Eyes sore and itchy Palpatations now and then I returned to work after dose 6 and have managed really well,i am very active at work and am on my feet all day,i found that this helped with aching legs and joint stiffness, before returning to work i would struggle to get up and down stairs,my fitness levels have vastly improved. How lovely to come across you on here again Dawn. When i was 1st diagnosed in 2011 i used bc forums alot,have read a few of your postings in the past.You were always an inspiration to me the amount of time you have been on Herceptin. I go for dose 16 of 18 on monday,got to have loading dose again,caught one of the nasty bugs going around so unable to have dose at usual time. Ive had runny/blocked nose,achey bones and slow hair re-growth.My veins have held out,although they get very achey at times. I returned to work around dose 6,yes some days i get so tired,but it is doable and to be honest the time has flown. Hi Ladies,small group yesterday for meet up but lovely to have met you Deb. Rach-Daff Glad your house move is back on,lucky you finding another buyer.I went to Thomas Land saturday with 3yr old grandaughter,wore me out,but like you weather held out so good day.Took a picnic,find these places so expensive for food and drink.
