Sorry been missing for a couple of weeks but loads going on. Had a letter from an old insurance policy didn't know we had. Worth either 300 a quarter or could have lump sum of 7000.00 so we decided to take lump sum. We had garden redone as not be sorted since we had an extension eight years ago! Ordered a new front door due next week and refurbish all our double glazing and also revamp bathroom in sept.. So loads of choosing bath, tsp, lights etc I got really excited, funny how your outlook changes after the things we have been through. OH had hernia op yesterday and is feeling poorly he now says he can relate to my op having had the recon from my tummy. I said his wound is about 2 inches long so dream on! Eldest son and his girlfriend get keys for their new home tighter today in london so sad that can not go and help today as dave not able to drive but will go up next week and have a lovely day with them. Work has been busy and as we are in a grade two building no air con last Thursday it got to 35 degrees. I even though not been writing have been reading posts and hoping that this finds you all in good spirts. Now that garden done I am having a big booby BBQ bank holiday weekend to celebrate a year since my op. Hi bev here. Sorry not been posting I have been reading all your posts. Busy as work and so sm really tired when I come home. Husband still gets confused when I go to bed at 8 o'clock. Had a call to day got my first marrow ram since operation. Feeling very anxious about it knowing that it was a marrow ram that started it all last year. I'm organising a big family friend booby BBQ at the end of aug to mark the 1st year . Hope all is well with everyone snd thst any problems are soon sorted. Morning everyone hope all feeling good about them selves. I can have the nipple reconstruction but I think there is about a year wait. Might even be brave then and have the breast cancer symbol tattooed somewhere discreet key on boob. Also saw my cancer doctor yesterday and she is really pleased so not got to go back for another six months. Yippee but still scared ! We too have loads of recycling one who flies for general waste, one for garden waste, box for glass and tins, bag for paper, bag for plastics, bag fir cardboard and lastly bin fir food waste.!!! My son Liam and almost daughter in law are moving in together in July in London so I hope engagement may be christmas. They have been together for ten years and are only 24, abit like me and hubby meet when I was 14 married at 18 and celebrating 35 years of marriage this November. Our younger son comes home from uea uni this coming weekend for the summer , the holidays seem so long. He starts work back at Next the following week so stock up on clothes as he get 25percent discount. I wish everyone a lovely weekend and looking forward to having Monday off as well. Hi all. Hope we are all ok, Sad about having to cut ring off can you have it put back together again , or if not my uncle as a jeweller and made my mums wedding ring into a pair of earrings for me.. Just a thought. Business still doing well but today I am sure that someone was out to try my patience as I appeared to be doing all the running around for vendors/purchasers. Oh well hope I got them sorted. Went to see about reconstruction and looking like am going for it. The recon that has been done has gone so well and I still have a cleavage so why not. Did want a stick on one as knowing my luck it would move and suddenly appear at the top of my jumper!!!! Just a quick message this morning. Business's going really well so really pleased. Up early to go into work an hour early today as I have follow up appointment at hospital with cancer team so fingers crossed all ok. I am realitively new to site so did not see many of Val's post but have been going back and reading them. She sounded a lovely lady. I have just come back late on thurs from our little break in Ireland. It was my husbands birthday whilst we were away so really nice to just relax. First time away and nice to say got a little braver in allowing the oh to see me getting ready for swimming, getting out of shower etc. Funny isn't it that you seem to change when on holiday. Morning everyone just an update. I have had a whole week without an hip pain and so I am going to atempt to go swimming this afternoon. My new lad started at work this week and it is all looking so positive I have him and my sat lady who is now doing three days a week could not ask for better staff. It has been really busy this week and yes looking forward to a busy Easter. I know I mentioned my three days away and the cost of changing flights I spoke to hotel snd lucky they have let me change to 28,29 and 30 th which is great and flights now booked at just over 120 pounds. OH birthday on the 29th as well so works out well. It was only when come home realised I had a follow up appointment with the plastic surgeon who carried out my reconstruction for the 30th to discuss nipple reconstruction so will need to change that. Hi everyone. Well another week gone by were does the time go. I am an estate agent but a nice one!!!! Had a very busy week and today managed to get an appointment with my almost daughter in law and had my hair coloured and cut. Feel a bit human again. My brother gave me a four day break in Ireland that he couldn't use snd all we had to do was psy for the flight name changes. Original flights cost 234 pound but they want 340 pound to change name so may not be going. Hope everyone else is feeling ok. Hi ladies. I am still trying yo get to work out who everyone is but I will get there. Business is going really well and is turning out yo be one of the best things I gave done for ages. Both my boys were not able to come home this weekend but gas some lovely flowers and they birth sent cards with some lovely personal messages inside , I had a few tears. Saw my brother yesterday whilst at my mums as I was taking her to Southend for the afternoon which was a great laugh. He told me that he had booked three days away next week in Ireland but can not no who so has given to me. - three nights at castle in Donegal five star and I have only got to pay 140 to change the flight names so really looking forward to just chilling.
