hi Ayejaye i had lumpectomy on 15th august had haematoma and fluid. I've had to c surgeon once or twice a week since had it drained 3 times. have been on antibiotics 4 weeks now. They r now saying fluid has gone solid and have gone into pockets. so can't drain anymore. has to go of its own acord now. very frustrating because im still waiting to start chemotherapy. sorry i couldn't b more help to.suexxx ... hi ladies i coming to terms with having to wait i don't no how long to start chemo. im trying to think of positive things. I come up with a idea want to no what everybody thinks of it. when the time comes to shave my hair im going to b very emotional i expect a lot of u have been already. i was thinking of having a few close friends and my daughter over and having a hat and scarves party ill supply food and wine and a few small pressys . they would bring a hat or scarve for me to wear. play few silly games while a friend of mine shaves my head. Hi ladies   im so down over all this ive tried talking to hubby but he does not get. Went to c surgeon again today hoping to get the all clear for chemo, but no once again I still have FLUID it's really getting to me now. Have to have it drained on Thursday which is same day as im having pics line put in but doable in same day so I think. But no I get phone call from chemo unit to say surgeon thinks still not right time to have it. Sorry for rant dont no if im coming or going any more. Sue ... View more

hi Peta im not clued up on all these things i hated my surgeon he was very rude and blunt so i didn't ask him much. i was only told last week by bc nurse that i had 18 nodes removed 1 was affected. had op on 15th august. i take Anitripetlen 4 migraines they knock me anyway lol. this probably hasn't helped sorry. sue xxx ... Hi lainie was starting to feel a little better this afternoon then I get a phone call to say they have change my chemo start date because of infection it's now 17Oct I no it's only a week but it throws all the date out first one our wedding anniversary second will b a day before my birthday I not sure how xmas fits in . hi ladies family problem is probably never going to b sorted so have to learn to live with it. going to b very hard.ive had 48 hours of hell at hospital and home. had very high temperature and bad pains in my legs my breast swelled up and was red and very hot and my heart was racing.went to gp and she said it was very bad infection gave me 4 different tablets to take and said to return next dayif no improvement i wouldl have to have intervenious antibiotics. didn't sleep allnight cold barely walk in morning. had doctor out. he said defiantly hospital.so get taxi to hospital thought is was a bit weird that he told me to go to normal hospital not hospital where id had my opp but silly me thought he's the doc so he must no.well after 3 hours of waiting answering questions bloods and them drawing around infection they decided to tell me i have to go to hospital were i had opp.by this time im sething . sorry this is long winded. doc at other hospital said it not infection its fluid they drain 250 mls off go back to c doc he said carry on taking antibiotics because there could be small infection there aswel come back in a weeks time. well im shattered by this time just want to get home. we left home at 11.00am didn't get back until 6.pm.not sure if this could delay chemo still have a temperature and legs r killing me. to top it all of come home to letter from hos saying picc line being put in on 16th Oct i start chemo on 10th Oct? good luck to every one having treatment today. hope everyone is not suffering to much. hi to new ladies who have joined. very hard to keep with every one. someone said about giving ourselfs a name what do u think about Oct FIGHTERS. suexxx ... Hi Julie    I came out of pre chemo chat feeling shattered my head was pounding with all the information to take in. Had blood test and they checked my veins . Apparently they are rubbish so I will b having pics line put in. Was told to buy sleeves from Boots does anyone no if u can get them from doctors surgery?                    Having heart scan on 7th Oct AT  7PM yes 7PM and we don't drive we don't live to faraway but will have to get taxi. Hope u dont mind me asking u a couple of questions. I had scan and like u was clear just wondered did u ask for bone scan or did they suggest it. It hasn't been mentioned to me.  Also did they put pics line in because of problems with your veins. I have preasement on Friday and start chemo on the 10th.
