Hi Jan. Got my planning appt through today for 23rd June hoping to start rads July if all dates go to plan my treatment will finish day before my 34th birthday! Can't believe I've slept even more but having a few strange dreams because of the pain killers rather funny actually. So the side effects for this round of t seem to be constant sleep. I've a few muscle aches but I just can't keep my eyes open. I've literally slept all day whilst the kids are at school and the hubster at work. Woke up for lunch straight back to sleep awake now but eyes shutting whilst typing this hope I sleep tonight! Hi nettieb. I started chemo in Feb and shaved my head as when it started to fall out. My scalp was painful like having your hair tied up in a really tight pony tail as soon as I shaved the pain went away. Could possibly be the hair follicles? Best of luck with your treatment xx ... View more

Hi ladies. Well t 2 went ahead on Fri and here come the dreaded Se set up for another week in bed if the last lot is anything to go by. Hi all. Sounds like everyone's having a rubbish time of it all with Se. Congrats to those who have finished I've got two more t to go next one tomorrow can't wait for it all to be over dreading the sender after last time small price to pay but really doesn't feel like it at the time! What a difference a day and regular pain killers make. After waking up crying yesterday and not being able to move due to pain to being up and showered and back in pj's to tired to be bothered getting dressed! Hi k. Had t on Friday felt great all day sat and Sunday until about 8 then felt uncomfortable. Monday morning aching all over but bearable with paracetamol and ibuprofen but last night my mum had to bring me some cocodamol. I'm just having pain in every muscle and joint. And no taste. The hot water bottle is great but like I said I'm melting! I enjoyed my bath but I have a picc line in so not the most relaxing but soothing all the same. It's my first dose so don't know how long they last I'm hoping not to long. Good luck x ... View more

Hi ladies hope we're all coping better than me at the minute. The Se from first T are awful pain from head to toe had a hot bath last night which helped massively. Even broke out the hot water bottle which helps relieve the pain but I'm sweating cobs can't bloody win! Got on to the gp this morning who's given me some cocodamol. Hi all. Not been on here for a while thought I'd check in to say hi. I'm starting t tomorrow 3fec done and dusted can't say I'm looking forward to it all but I'm half way through chemo that's what I keep telling myself!
