Ah I have an injection called Lonquinex or something like that, I get it day after treatment and does the same thing. I feel for you ladies with young children going through such a rubbish time. Praying you and I feel better soon 💕 💕

Aw Loolyboo the mouth is horrible. What's the injection, I don't get that? I pretty much had an easy time with Fec so I'm really struggling with feeling rubbish on T. Xx

Hi ladies, I'm currently day 7 after first T and hate it so much. Was fine for first 4 days then it hit. Vile taste in my mouth and very white, been taking fluconasol but doesn't seem to be clearing. Ended up in hospital day 5 with temp of 38.5 although all tests proved ok. Is anybody over day 7? Desperate to know when I'll feel better. Sending you all love xx

Hi lovely ladies, sorry not been on in a while, hope everyone's doing good. I had a really long day in hospital yesterday as I started on Herceptin and Docetaxol, glad to get the 1st of both of these treatments under my belt. Woke up this morning feeling the best I've felt since I started on Fec, long may it continue. I've read the se's don't usually kick in for a few days so I'll make the most of today and tomorrow. Hope you are all well and enjoy the bank holiday weekend xxx

Hi again ladies, thanks for sharing your experiences. I have been using Simple shampoo and conditioner and just E45 moisturiser on my head, dont think I could wear anything under my wig. It seems to be really spotty one minute then just one or two the next. Oh well hopefully that wont last much longer, next week ill be half way there 🙂

Hi all sorry not been on here in a while. Im day 17 after my 2nd FEC, i lost the majority of my hair just before 2nd FEC. I got it shaved to a no2 and still have a slight covering almost all over. Has anyone else had this or will i lose this after my 3rd FEC. I cant wait to start T and have my hair grow back. My head seems to be quite nspotty too, not sure if this is because of my wig. I sthere anything you lovely ladies could recommend to help the spots. Thank you and hope everyone is doing well with their treatments. xx

Hi all not posted in a while. I'm day 16 after my 1st Fec and feeling great. My hair is shedding big time so I have booked my hairdresser for Monday to get it shaved off. It's really sensitive and hurting my scalp a bit now. I'd say I've been pretty much back to normal since about day 7. Going away next week for a few days and then no 2 treatment on Friday. Can't wait to get that one ticked off. Hope everyone's doing good xx

Hi all good to see how everyone is doing. Im on day 4 of 1st fec and feeling ok, been out and about working away. Legs feel a bit heavy now and again but other than that im doing fine. Im drinking loads of water and also grape juice which I hope are doing me good. Going to see my wig on Tuesday as im guessing it wont be long before I need it. I havent bought any beanie hats or anything as I dont know where to begin with them. Are most people wearing them at night to bed as ive read this a few times. My nurse also told me that we dont need to protect our nails with dark polish until the T part of Fec-T, has anybody else been told this? Thanks xx

Hey susie I got my first fec today and feeling fine other than heavy eyes. Went to sainsburys and got all my fruit and veg for the nutribullet, hoping that will help along the way. It's a scary process but I'm sure we can do this xx

Hi I was recently diagnosed with DCIS and underwent a mastectomy in which they found a small tumour. I am 2 weeks post surgery and due to see the oncologist tomorrow as I have to have chemo and herceptin. Im a bit confused by all the positive/negative jargon but my breast surgeon said im HER2 positive. I decided to join this forum in the hope to get some help on my journey. I am absolutely dreading chemo. I guess tomorrow will hold more answers when I see the oncologist.

Hi all im new to this forum having just been diagnosed with her2 positve. It all started after DCIS diagnosis which lead to having a full mastectomy and a couple of lymph nodes removed. An 18mm stage 3 tumour was found in the removed tissue and ive now been told its her2 positive. I was told yesterday that i need to have chemo which scares me and i meet the oncologist for the 1st time tomorrow to discuss it. Im only 44 and think "why me" but i guess we're all the same. My biggest fear is losing my hair (i know it seems vain). Does anyone have any experience with the same diagnoses as me and have any experience of the chemo involved. My surgeon said it would be once a week every 3 weeks for 6 weeks and then taking Herceptin for 10 years. Are there any questions i should be asking the oncologist tomorrow? Any help would be gratefully received xx
