oh no EJ81,  I too used to have a Jasmine in my old garden and had to leave it behind, I just loved the smell of jasmine in the summer, In fact I might try and find a spot for a new one just for that reason, but like you my gardening is sparodic at the moment, Im still struggling with mobility because of my arm and just when I think I have gotten control - bang - I suffer an episode of break through pain, oh well I suppose i will just have to wait till It settles down, lets hope you can ID your runner beans. Helen, I have some strawberrys coming through but no where near ready, I also have some small quinces coming through as well as some raspberrys, lets hope this rainy weather clears enough to be able to get out into our gardens enough to enjoy again xxxxx ... Hey Tiger & Debs, I've not long joined either and I'm still reading up on the many threads on here, I have recurrence to neck shoulder chest nodes on the left side and on between my neck and shoulder on the right side. I was first diagnosed in 2011 with Tnbc and I was nearly five years clear, it is very scarey, but you will get heaps of support here.  I struggle with pain management at the moment, but on Saturday when I was having my chemo the nurse suggested voltrol to massage in, and to be honest I'm not sure if I'm still high from steroids but it's like a miracle it stopped almost all my pain in my neck and shoulder. Its still there but not as bad Iwade in the night and take oralmorph and that gets me back to sleep quite quickly. Anyhow I'll stop ramberling and welcome to the forum. Xx Blannaxx ... View more

Hi deb, I was nearly five years clear, it came back in the nodes around my shoulders and neck, I can feel them and I get a lot of pain from it,and you do learn to cope, for me I think it was being under the care of the oncology team and of course my treatment plan is weekly paclitaxel with one week off in every three. I'll be completing session 2 of six rounds of chemo tomorrow and due my week off. I hope once you get your treatment plan you start to feel better about it all. Xxx ... View more

Hi dawn, Thank you so much, I spoke to them on Friday and they said to call the lymphedema team. Chemo was halted whilst I waited for the house doc, but to be honest she wasn't much help. Ive got my outpatient appointment soon so will ask then, in the meantime I'll phone my bc nurse about hospice and pain management. Thanks also for the heads up on ibuprofen I didn't realise that ibuprofen was a risk,with stomach ulcers I'll ask for any alternatives. Ive had two days being comfortable and the neck pain is back, I went into meltdown with hubby tonight, it was as if all this rage just came out of me, I'm sick of being sick.
