Hello Dae I am 2 years post surgery and when I last saw my Onc she said there is no obvious reason for the pain it just happens!! I had CT scans and bone scans so know all is well but it still hurts! I know what you mean about everyone thinking you are okay now and I dont know about you but I am sure my Hubby is fed up with me moaning. I have just started Gabapentin as Naproxen was not much help luckily my GP is brilliant and does not try to fob me off. At least on this forum we have have a moan with people who understand. Hello everyone I have had pretty much constant pain following rads and luckily my doctor has been brilliant. He seems to be working his way through every tablet known and has now prescribed gabapentin. It seems to be working but i am not sure that I want to take it long term which he thinks may be necessary. hello Dont know if this helps but I had severe pain on the rads site for many months. CT and bone scan all showed nothing suspicious and the pain is slowly getting better.My onc said that unfortunately it is just one of those things. Hope you soon feel better Hilary ... View more

hello everyone I finished rads end of jan 08 started feeling breathless july. During 09 I had CT scan and respiratory checks as i seemed to constantly have a chest infection. My breathing got better by the end of the year. Now i have lots of pain around my ribs and chest and have had a bone scan which thankfully was clear. I saw my onc a couple of weeks ago and she said "it is just one of those things" I am convinced that it is the result of the rads but at least my breathing is better take care hilary ... View more

Hello Ann I was offered a small prosthesis about 6 weeks after rads finished. My BCN was brilliant and spent ages making sure that I had one I was comfortable with. I even forget now that it is there. I dont know how often they can be replaced but seem to last forever. Good luck Hilary ... View more

Hello I finished rads 2 years ago and in the last few months have had really bad pain in my rib and chest area. I hate bending down because Of the cramping pain.
