Thank you so much all for sharing your experiences. Her oncologist doesn't seem to have any advice on the taste change... He seems to be concerned about the results of therapy more pthan anything else... She also prefers soups over anything else, bus she needs to have a richer diet I assume. She doesn't have any soar throat, she says the food tastes bad/bitter. We will see her oncologist tomorrow with new test results, please send us your prayers 🙏  ... View more

Hi Jodie ,welcome to the forum.The anxious waiting is so horrible isn't it .Fingers crossed that there is another explanation for your symptoms but if not there is lots of support and advice on the forum .I am currently going through various tests myself and waiting on bone biopsy so confirm / rule out bone mets following a concerning scan .Its such an awful time isn't it .Hope you get good news . ... I'm similar to you Sandi54, I was diagnised with SBC last November as my 1st experience and diagnosis of BC. I had 6 rounds of EC chemo with goid results and have been on palbociclib and letrozole since March and also denosumab 4 weekly injections. Scans have shown all remains stable and I feel well with only a few minor side effects. Just hoping this situation remains for a long time yet.
