Hi i just wondered how you are all getting on? Im awaiting another appt at the breast clinic next tues regarding the constant pins and needles and numbness in breast and down arm.. Its making my underwear uncomfortable and as its the breast with the dimple im so so worried its 24/7 now and has been for weeks. Ive only had a ultrasound on dimple area in which they said it was normal findings but i really want a mammogram to put my anxiety to rest and have a normal result of whole breast. All i have in mind is they missed tumor in breast where dimple is and its now spread to lymph nodes resulting in pins and needles. Its taking over me i hate it.. Hope they do a mammogram x ... Oh I'm so pleased everything seems OK for you..I feel slightly reassured that another person has a dimple or 2 that is normal again.can I ask is your breast square in the one with dimple at the bottom? I'm only 32 so more worried it has already spread if I have it.. it's the swelling that scenting me and the pain almost like stinging underarm. I know what u mean I was told they couldn't find anything said something like tightend ligaments but only scanned over dimple I hoped they would do all and underarm.. it's making me just watched my breastse removed the anxiety I'm getting with it is awful and I'm struggling to be positive around my 2 young children. How did you get on at hospital fineyfinehope ? Hope everything went well. And have you been bk to Dr's jules? I went bk and told Dr about the constant burn pain in breast and armpit but she said it was my anxiety and concentrated on that.its made my anxiety worse and can't help thinking about having cancer as my breast feels so strange especially where the dimples are and this morning I've woken up with swelling over my colleague bone in same side. I can't go bk to doctors but I can't get it out my head I'm so upset with it all..feel like until I get it looked at again I can't rest x ... View more

Thankyou for quick response that's exactly like my pain..not pain as such more burning and stabbing soreness.im so scared and anxious of ibc and constantly prodding .I'm hoping it is a pulled muscle .I've not got a Dr's appt but think I will try get one I just don't feel they understand as I've already been and been discharged. Hi I'm having exact the same thing I've been to the breast clinic twice with a dimple under right breast over a 2 year period..it's like a thumb print in playdoh and my breast is square when lean forward.ive never had a reason for it other than loss of tissue in the area of dimple and no lump although they nly scan the area of dimple not whole breast. The last fortnight I've been having severe pain and burning in whole breast and wonder are/shoulder..I'm convinced it's ibc especially as it isn't picked up on ultrasound.im driving myself crazy obsessed with looking and feeling breast for redness and hotness..I do feel it's heavier and firmer but don't know if it's my anxiety. The pain came on after 2 days of painting the stairs in which I only used a child's stool to reach right to ceiling..I'm hoping it is a pulled muscle as I can't face the Dr's again I feel they don't believe me as I've told them I know I suffer with health anxiety.would painting cause a pulled muscle and pain? The dimple is no bigger than it was 2 years ago but I can't help but talk myself into having ibc. Dellisa81 please try not to worry, i went through extreme anxiety and even planned how i would tell people the worst. I was on the internet constantly and always only read horrible things. But to reassure you i have been twice now and had an ultrasound on the indent, they have put it down to natural breast changes and change in breast tissue. I was told although the indents can be a sign of cancer they are almost always just because of as they put it our breasts are being held up with ligaments and sometimes a ligament stretches and is faulty and causes the indent.ive had mine 2 years now and although im constantly aware of it be reassured they can be nothing. I think the media as good as it is is highlighting the indents so much at tge minute but people dont always highlight when its not cancer. All the best for your appt let us know how you get on xx ... Hi i just wanted to come bk and fill people in just incase they read in future.i went for my breast clinic appt today and had a ultrasound to be told theres no lump and although i do have a dimple it is common to get them for non cancerous reasons. Apparently we have ligaments holding the breasts to our body and its as simple as one is pulling tighter than the others and causing the dimple for me, i also over the area of dimple have a change in breast tissue density and thats also causing change in apperance. But again this is normal tissue and causes and just to keep looking for new changes.obviously i feel v relieved and funnily enough now my anxietys dripped so has the pain in the breast i was getting.i just want women to know that not all dimple/pukering is cancer and until the diagnosis is made keep calm as tgeres many otger things to cause this.thanks for the support xxx ... Thankyou for taking time to reply..i did this last year when i first found it and was such a mess i had to stop myself crying all the time and thought really negative thoughts..i ended up at emerg drs at 2am having a panic attack.im talking myself into having bc again and now Even more convinced as i feel i have A swelling not Lump in the armpit of same breast.. its slightly tender and asumen it was just fat..but now petrified its in the nodes. Is it posdible they could miss it in a ultrasound scan? Im sure the dent would be deeper by now if it was though?? Sorry im just so worried. I am my own worst enemy i feel i cant be lucky enough to have 2 healthy children and a happy life..always waiting for something bad to happen and i fear this is it xx ... View more

Hi i 2 have a slight indent underneath my right breast.it looks like a thumb print in playdoh if that makes sense.i went just over a year ago to drs after seeing posts on social media of the exact same thing being cancer in other women.i was sent for a ultrasound in which they couldnt find anything and said sometimes after breadtfeeding it can just happen.im constantly concerened its still there and some days feel its slighlty worse.. i worry that they didnt find any reason for it that they have missed something sinester as if i had a reason for it i could forget it. I know they know what they are looking for and after a year im sure i would have other symptoms.sorry for the long text im hust hoping someone has had the same with good results.
