Hello deb. thank you for your post and I'm really sorry to hear you have been having such a rough time post rad. It's good advice and I'll certainly watch out for any further problems. At the moment I've got the discoloured parts of the boob and bit of a sore nipple area. Under the boob where I get friction it's a bit sore too but slightly better today I think. I am still getting the stabbing type pains in the breast but then they ease for a bit. Think that's normal though. So keeping fingers crossed I don't get any more unwanted developments!!!  Not got my check up appt yet and still waiting to hear which hormone  tablet she starting me on.    I hope youll soon feel feel much better and see a light at end of the tunnel. Thanks Janey and Mary, i was told not to put cream on if broken skin and speak to doc. Also to let air to it. We hear so many different things don't we. As not at home today I pinched a bit of foam dressing from dads supply and taped it underneath while out!!! Nothing like improvisation lol. It's one of the hazards of being big busted I think after rads. Janey, I hope yours improves too. Let me know if you find a solution!   mary, I hope your back eases too. Hi there, thank you for all your lovely posts. Felt quite emotional at last session but ok after a hug or two. Won't miss the constant travelling and hanging about but I can't fault the care I received. I feel a bit like 'what happens now'????     My skin only went pink towards the latter part of my rads and a bit sore from friction under right breast. So the bra comes off at home. They said not to put the cream on tthe  sore bit if it breaks down. I could do with a 'boob' brace to hold it up to stop it chaffing!!!  Good job we can all laugh at times eh.   thinking of you all as you go through treatment. Last rad tomorrow. The three weeks are finally coming to an end. Tireing travelling and hanging about but the treatment was fine. Pinkness for me was about 12th and bit sore under boob. Hi kary. My last session tomorrow. Only had pinkness and sore under boob from my 12th. Hoping the skin holds up. I should be at work from this weekend all being well but not looking forward to it. It's hard to believe that the rads is almost over. The most tiredness for me was from travelling and hanging about. Now I'm just waiting to hear which tablet I've got to go on as they queried the anastrazole for me. I hope you and all the ladies on here continue to do well. Hi Janey, goodness you have had quite a tense time. So pleased your sisters results were not what you were dreading. I'm sure they were tears of relief. I have two daughters who of course worry too about this. I was told they are at no more risk than at any other time. One is 30 and the other 27. I really hope they check thoroughly.   had my 12th rad today. My first sign of pinky skin and a bit of discolourisation. Wondering if like it has been mentioned by someone that it gets worse once finished!! I keep creaming and creaming. Hi Kathy I put the aloe Vera on once home as no time to do it there then the diprobase in between and before bed. Clair, many congratulations. Lovely news for you. Today again I was late in but then half hour in room as it seems to take a while getting measurements right. My shoulder and arm position seems to create the challenge!
