Oh thanks so so much, I know scar tissue is a good pal!!! I am looking forward to the break, we finish tomorrow at 1pm although more likely to be 3 once we have all sorted for next term. Hubbie finishes on Friday and not back until 8th, kinda wish we were the same as we back 4th. Its a nice holiday so no complaints here, to be honest with the news I got yesterday I would even work through with a smile. Thanks again Mary

Thank goodness our service is up and running now, it was a pain last night internet down sorry to all my friends waiting for my news as promised. All went well and the doctor was happy that it is scar tissue and nothing sinister!!! I am so very very grateful. I finish school on Wed and will be back on to see how all my lovely friends are. He to all my dear friends. I have not been on for a long time but have always popped in to see how everyone is doing when I can. The multiple sclerosis has been behaving and I am taking the injections 3 times a week to try and continue keeping it at bay, a bit more lame but trying. x I have discovered a new something, thickness/lump so I went to the g.p who is not overly concerned ut would like me to be seen by the consultant which I did on Thursday and have an ultrasound on Monday morning. The consultant said I am not worried Mary, think it is a cyst but we will get it checked with ultrasound. I feel so bad, its as though I am only contacting you for selfish reasons. I was wishing to say Happy, Holy and Healthy Christmas and New Year to you all!! I have never forgotten how wonderful and caring you all were when I had my b.c in 2016. the girls in school had a fundraiser donating all monies raised to Breast Cancer Care as you were so kind to me. I will let you all know Monday night how everything goes. Mary xxxxxx

Hello delly and all my other brave friends. I have not been on in a while as the ms has been playing up but thankfully has settled now. I had my first mammogram since the op/treatment and all is fine, thank goodness. I meet the surgeon/oncologist on 31st August as she wishes to see me yearly and I will be very happy when that appointment is over with. How have you been delly? All good otherwise, I am having a surprise 50th for my hubbie on Friday. I said last year when I was going through all this with the bc and th m.s relapse that if I made it through it all I would surprise him as he has been a rock. Here's hoping he does not get too much of a shock. I have been secretly saving and have all sorted now, a bit more expensive than I had thought but you know its worth it to have a get together on a good occasion. Love to all and keep believing as we are a strong bunch xxxxx

Thank you Rubycat, Sorry you are sore also. I am not sure if the lesions cause pain, but am due to start copaxone injections for my m.s which has back pain noted as a side effect so I really hope this does not cause anymore pain. I am starting the copaxone to try and halt any further progression and am quite nervous about it. Just need to be brave and know I am doing as much as I can to keep me well, or wellish anyway. I hope you get a spinal mri soon. Take care and thanks again. I will let you know how the injection goes, 3 days a week so I will be like a pin cushion soon. xxx

Hello to all you brave folk, I have been on tamoxifen and have really been suffering with chronic back pain which I tuly think is due to the tamoxifen. I have multiple sclerosis too and because of the m.s had a brain and spinal mri in Dec which showed new lesions on my spine due to a m.s relapse but thankfully nothing else. The backache is severe when I first get out of bed but does ease gradually as day goes on however never goes completely. I was wondering if anyone else has had this awful backache. I hope you are all dong well, Mary xxx

Hello to all my friends and hope you are all doing as well as can be. I am hoping you may be able to help. As you all probs know by now I am on tamoxifen and have m.s also. I am having really chronic back pain which is severe in the morning on getting up but does ease slightly during the day. It is hard to know if it is the m.s as the neurologist said the lesions on my spine may well be causing it or could it be the tamoxifen or something more sinister? . I did have a spinal mri in dec which showed the lesions on my spine caused by the m.s I am wondering would they be able to see cancer from an mri? Sorry to bother you all but I am kinda scared. Hello, I had the very same procedure as you are having in August. It was fine and recovery was good. The anxiety about the procedure was worse than the actual thing itself. I hope all goes well tomorrow and I will keep you in my thoughts. Mary xxx

Hello to all my lovely friends and a very warm welcome to all who have recently joined. I know it is a scary dark place when first told about bc but with the help of all these wonderful ladies supporting you things do get easier. Sorry I have not been on for a whilke but back at work now five days a week so kinda knacked but getting stronger everyday I hope. I cannot believe how much my confidence has been rocked, I love my work and all my workmates(friends) however when I started back and even now I am as nervous as a kitten. I had to have a colonoscopy last week and am awaiting results of 2 biopsies taken. They said all looked well and it was usual for them to biopsy but I am still nervous. I have spoken with my m.s nurse and we think starting copaxone may be the way to go but to be honest I am really scared about more meds. (injection daily). I am not scared of needles but the side effects of these drugs are the worry.Ah well I will take all advice on board and keep thinking as positive as I can. I truly hope you are all doing well and I keep you all in my thoughts/prayers. I will not leave it as long and will pop in often. xxxxxx Mary

Debscrivens, I have been on tamoxifen since september. I have multple sclerosis also so it is very hard to know if it is the tamoxifen or m.s causing my severe lower backache. I had a spinal and brain mri in Dec and there are lesions on my spine, which my neuro reckons would cause chronic back pain. My oncologist said the tamoxifen would cause joint pain so try your best not to worry too much. I am back at work part time just now and have cried some evenings thinking I cannot do it any more but hopefully it will pass and we will all be us again. Mary xxx
