Hi, I haven't been on forum for a long time and couldn't remember how to start a new thread, so here goes, I was diagnosed in Jan 2017 with TNBC Right breast , had lumpectomy and reconstruction, 6 rounds of FEC-T, 15 rads, had left boob reduced, had lots of back and hip pain, had scans all clear, have had several ultra sounds as breast where grump the lump was has developed cysts, back again next week as another one has appeared, I'm really not worried about that as I'm sure it will be another cyst to join the other 3 I have, but here is the question, I have today a very painful collar bone, opposite side to affected breast, very sore to touch and aching shoulder, also been waking up with headaches during the night, hot sweats although I am going through the change they seem to be more frequent, I'm not sure if just to nip to A&E for quick X-ray on collar bone or go to my own Dr, I'm quiet worried as this is very new. Or am I worrying for nothing, also had a burning feeling in left breast although I have felt and no lumps at all, any advice is welcome x

Thank you Helena, been for wig fitting today, gone back dark as I had to ho much lighter due yo grey lol, love new wig, I Hope the weather improves for you. Will update you when my daughter gets appt xxx

Hi everyone, I have my third date for chemo, let's hope this goes ahead as had delays with wound not healing, 6th April, 3 Fec followed by 3 fec-t, thinking of everyone, good luck ladies. Although some days some will suffer with side effects of chemo, remember it is your friend xxc

Thank you for replies, hi Helena, I'm not too bad thanks, chemo delayed again due to wound not healing quick enough, now 6th April, attempted Picc line, wow, it didn't occur, my veins are very narrow, all I got was a sore, swollen bruised arm, but never mind, cannulation for first chemo and will see how it goes, my 28 yr old daughter has found a lump, just waiting for appt at breast clinic, trying not to worry but easier sa8d than done, hop3 things are well with you, hugs to everyone xxx

Hi Paula, Ms Merton, Firstly, thank you for your replies, I hope that chemo goes well for you Paula and that your side effects are not too bad, I shall be thinking of you, I have to have 6 cycles as I had triple negative BC, grade 3, follows by 6 weeks of radiotherapy, I was fortunate that lymph nodes were clear and had clear margins, Ms Merton, I wish you well and a speedy recovery after your surgery, I haven't been offered portacath, but will mention it to my breast care nurse, thank you both so much for your replies, huge hugs to both of you xx

Hi Everyone, I hope everyone is doing as well as can be expected, my cheno has been delayed again due to breast wound not healing quick enough, i was supposed to begin chemo at 4 weeks after op, then i had a second date for today, again delayed until 6th April, also attempted PICC line with no success, the only thing i got was a very bruised sore, swollen arm, i was feeling down last week and was going to forget the lot, but only down for a day, i thought about peope that cant afford chemo in other countries, and how lucky i am to have so much good care around me, also a friend of mine who works in a hospice near me once said, however bad the chemotherap gets remember its your friend, and although i havent started yet, i have thought long and hard, i will probably have more down days but today this day as i write this, i am feeling well, the sun is shining and i am happy about that i have good friends around me, so remember ladies, we are all in this together and i wish each and every one of you a good, happy and healthy life xxx

Well here I am, got my date to begin chemo, 28th march, 6 cycles, has been a delay as breast still not healed, hopefully it will be as had op 16th Feb, nurses are still coming every day to dress wound, having picc line on the 21st march, does this hurt? I'm a little worried but want to get started asap,hope everyone is doing well with treatment xx Sue x

I know, I can't believe it, just need this swelling to go from under arm and right side of right boob, really don't want it draining, infection is only mild, antibiotics will cure that, not looking forward to chemo but hey ho, has to be done xxx

Hi Ladies, I hope that you are all as well as can be expected, well I had my surgery on the 17th Feb 17, been for follow up today, I have no lymph node involvement and have clear margins, should get appt for oncologist next week and then the chemo begins shortly after, all in all a good day. Sue xx

Hi, I am also at Burnley General Hospital, just had surgery for grade 3, had lumpectomy and reconstruction. Not started chemo yet, hopefully will be at Burnley, then Preston for radiotherapy. I agree that all the staff from start to where I am now are amazing, hope you make a quick, uncomplicated recovery, same to everyone else reading this post. Sue xx

Hi Ladies, Im back, I had my lumpectomy, reconstruction last Thursday, all has gone well, yesterday I had my drain taken out, today I had steri strips taken off, but my breast has been very sore on the inside today, it feels like I am having needles jabbed inside my breast, also my breast feels very heavy but doesn't look anymore swollen, any ideas what this could be or any similar experiences.
