Hi Maria I was diognosed in March 2013 lumpectomy twice because of margins. Had chemo and radiotherapy and thought that was the end of it. I went back for a 6month check when they found my lympnode was up on same side so It had spread. so out came my limphnodes and more chemo. Then I had the braca 1 gene and that came back that my cancer is hereditary. Anyway I opted for a double masecetomey with reconstruction. I had to have a scan. It was done at the last miniute. I was all prepered all ready for my operation, when the doctor went to check my scan. She came back with the news that they had found cancer again. I was devisted!! Ive just had my 3rd lot of chemo and 2nd lot of radiotherapy and a single masecetomy. I am now waiting on a scan to see if they have got it all. lets hope this is third time lucky!! Jackie
