Very interesting reading ladies. I was diagnosed with lung metastasis 2 weeks ago. Luckily they are tiny. I was expecting chemo, but have been put on Letrozole. My oncology is very optimistic that they could totally disappear. I just need to have tumour markers and a bone scan. I fell great I have no lung symptoms. I feel I can get on with life again after 6 weeks of hell. ... View more

Hello my name is Barbara. I was diagnosed with grade 2 breast cancer 15 years ago. Treated with mastectomy reconstruction, chemo,RT and Tamoxifen  Last year i was diagnosed with rectal cancer which was localised. I stll had to have major surgery aĺong with an ileostomy.  This was going to be reversed on 5th January. I had a CT which showed mutiple nodules on my left lung. I had to go back into for more tests and a lung biopsy.  Last Wednesdays i was back in clinic to hear the bad news. I am total disbelief and my world has fallen apart.
