Hi Christine I am on Palbociclib and have been for three years. I suffer terribly with dry eyes which means they constantly water and my nose runs! Although not Ribociclib it is the same family of drugs. The only thing I was advised is Xaolin eye drops and antihistamine tablets. I have never had my arms raised for a PET scan, they are always by my sides. Please don't worry, either position will detect activity if there is any which I'm sure is not the case for you. I am so sorry to hear about your acupuncture experience and thanks for letting me know how it went. I haven't found anything that helps the pain although I do some exercises for it which are supposed to help but haven't so far! Mine also is worse at night and turning over in the night is agonising and I call out in pain. I hope you find a way to manage the pain for your son's wedding and food luck with your next scan. I have considered acupuncture yes. I will definitely look into this. My pain originally started in my elbow, then moved to my left shoulder and then one day it miraculously disappeared and a week later had moved to my right shoulder! Hello. I am on a combination of Palbociclib, Exemestane and Denosumab and have suffered with bad shoulder pain for over two years which is the same amount of time I have been on this medication. Hi Helen After waiting 19 weeks I decided to phone them to see if there was a problem with my application as I hadn't heard anything at all from them. They checked and told me the claim was still being processed as I would need a health assessment, usually face to face but obviously now would be on the phone. I waited for the call but it never came! The next thing I knew I had a letter saying I had qualified for the full amounts. Hi I was diagnosed with SBC in September 2019 and only learned about PIP last year when a friend mentioned to me that I would be eligible and should claim. The form is fairly straightforward and even though it took 23 weeks to be decided (I was told it was due to Covid) I heard last week that I was successful and have been awarded the highest amount for Daily Living and also Mobility. It was backdated from when I first applied and it won't be renewed for another 10 years (hoping I'll still be around then!!) I hope this helps for anyone who is not sure whether they should apply. Hello, I would like to join in here too please and send love to everyone going through this. My primary was found in January 2017 after finding a lump in my left breast. I had a mastectomy and was prescribed Anastrozole. I was very unlucky to have a chest wall recurrence on the same side later the same year. After the lump was removed I then had five and a half weeks of radiotherapy during 2018.  Last year I had a chest x-ray as I'd had a cough for a few months and then after a Ct scan they discovered cancer in my lymph nodes and secondaries in my spine. I too was devastated to get this news and was unable to process it for quite a few weeks. I am taking Palbociclib, Exemestrane and have Denosumab injections every four weeks. My PET-CT scan in January showed the cancer in the lymph nodes have reduced by almost half and the spine mets are stable. The only side effects I have noticed has been loss of nose hair (!!) eyebrows and now my hair is thinning a lot. I have been able to continue working full-time and only feel tired on the fourth week of the cycle. I feel so lucky to have been able to have the Palbociclib and hope it gives me many more years!
