Hi Kat sorry to hear about your recent dx. It is a shock but you will get through it. It seems like they take a long time from one test to the next and you feel like it is spreading like fire but my doctor reassured me it does not work like that . Have faith. I'm on my first chemo session with cisplatin after being dx with invasive ductal carcinoma. We have a long way to go but we can't give up. We have to fight back.

Hi, I understand what you are going through. I felt a lump mid April and I am still waiting to start chemo. The waiting is nerve-wracking, but there are so many tests that are necessary before starting treatment. But we need to have faith and stay positive. Wish you the best take care.

Thanks for your comment. Trying to stay positive. I'm scheduled to have my port in by July 3rd. Still not sure when chemo will start. Will see my oncologist Monday maybe she will tell me then.

Thanks for your comment . I feel better now. Waiting for MRI, CT and pet scan results. Will see my oncologist Monday. I am afraid of the results. But still hoping it hasn't spread.

Sorry to hear that, I feel for you. I felt lump in April and just yesterday finally met with my doctors. Was told it is TNIDC. Possibly stage 3 with lymph nodes involvement. They won't know if it had spread until they do MRI, PET and CT scan scheduled next week. So more waiting it just seems that's all I have been doing all this time. My doctor said that it takes cancer years to develop and that a few weeks does not make a difference. So let's have faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. He will help us through this .

Yes, i just spoke with my team of doctors yesterday and the told me I have triple negative breast cancer with lymph involvement. They think it's stage 3 but won't know for sure until I have an MRI, PET scan and ct scan. I'm very scared. I've had panic attacks and keep having tingling and warmth sensations in my crotch and abdominal area and my stomach feels in knots. I also started having diarrhea. I feel as if my cancer is all over my body. Does anyone feel this way?

Thank you so much for your encouragement. It really helped to hear from others with the same problems. After my panic attack yesterday I was so embarrassed that I asked my coworkers to call the ambulance . I was taken to the ER. I thought I was having a heart attack. Thank you

Thank you, I am trying to have a positive attitude. My family is very supportive and am trying some relaxation techniques to help with panic attacks.

I have been diagnosed with infiltrating ductal carcinoma. I have been so tense and stressed out. I had been having my annual mammograms and nothing showed until I felt the lump in breast in April. Since then it has been waiting and waiting for more testing and finally I'm meeting with my cancer care team on Tuesday. I feel pains everywhere and think I'm dying. Yesterday at work I experienced for the first time a panicked attack. I did not know what was happening to me and thought I was having a heart attack or stroke. The ambulance was called since I had my blood pressure very high. Has anyone any tips on how to control this feeling. Thanks.
