Hi Mojan, I have been on eribulin since june, just had my first scan results cple weeks ago, the tumour in liver, adrenal gland and nodes have all dramatically reduced, was very shocked and pleased. My oncologist has given me alittle break from it till Jan 10th.very pleased about that, I have also beCen drinking japenese tea as well, so dont know if this might have contributed,dont suppose i will ever know. How are you doing, i know you said they were prob taking you off eribulin, are you on another chemo now,this chemo is very kind to me,i only really suffer with fatigue. Hi Moijan, Hope your new plan works well for you, I am on eribulin going into 6th cycle, side effects bin kind to me apart from fatigue, really scared bout results as my oncologist(old one)said to me as i was goin thru his office door after her told me about this chemo, that my cancer was aggresive and said he was sorry,so he didnt give me alot of hope. I now have a female oncologist with completely different attitude, the only thing when she is on hol i have to have the old one, i have made it clear to her i want her to deliver my results good or bad,she fully understands me. I hope they keep me on this chemo as it works on many levels, did you have many side effects from it. The one you are going on i was on as a clinical trial, that only worked for me for cple months,is it an injection, that wasnt to bad at all,just can be abit long winded, as they have to take it out fridge and leave for hour,so abit of waiting around. Hreallyi Bousy, Have you had your scan, sorry alittle late in asking u that was in august, hope it all went well. I am having mine in cple weeks, really scared, i have had really bad fatigue,now they are say my magnesium is really bad. regards bezza111(carol)x

Hi Withasmile, thank you for your reply, you have made me feel alittle more positive, it is such a scary time,but the chemo is being kind at moment, just struggling with the fatigue, feel so hopeless,trying to do chores is so hard I have to rest after each chore. Thank god i have hubby at home and he helps me an awful lot with everything, also our boys are grown up so at least i dont have little children to depend on me. Really admire these parents that are having chemo, and also having children to look after,must be so hard.Really appreciate your reply,it has given me hope,thank you so much,really appreciate it,keep in touch.Lots love, Carolxx

Hi Liz, I was on the same treatment as you before i started this new treatment and didnt work, i was so disappointed as i was on it since feb,nearly six months before doing a scan,thought they could have done scan sooner,with this new treatment i have scan in 3 months time, good luck with your treatment, keep in touchxx

Hi Bousy, Just wondering how you going on with your Eribulin treatment, I have started last week day 1 and go for my second session day 8 on weds this week,so far so good,only the fatigue has been really bad. Hope you are doing well, i will be having scan in 3 months time.x

Hello,sorry this is my first time on here. I have metastatic breast cancer, this is the 4th time. I have had it on breast, had chemo and mastectomy and radiation, then went to my ovary, had another op to remove it,then went for 6 yrs until it showed last year in my adrenal gland and now sightings on my liver. I have been on clinical trial it did work for afew months, then oral chem tablets they didnt work, now been put on Eribulin,had day 1 first cycle last week, due in on weds this week then a free week. Is there anyone out there that is on this chemo, it isnt on nhs and my oncologist had to apply for funding for it. Thank you so muchx

Hi Temmuz, so sorry to hear about your diagnosis,it is scary I understand completely. I have metastatic breast cancer, this is 4th time. I started in 2008 with masectomy, radiation and chemo, then following year it went to my ovary so had another op, more chemo!! Then last year it showed in my adrenal gland and now i have spots on my liver, been for scan results today and more spots on my liver and tumours have increased,very scared. I have been on oral chemo tablets since February this year as I have breast cancer in my adrenal gland and spots on my liver. Went for scan results today and showed that the tumours in gland have grown, it is 2.1cms now, not a big increase but oncologist said more concerned about my liver showing more spots on it, I am now goin on a chemo called Eribulin, has anyone been on this and what are side effects from it.
